Unfortunately the food just doesn’t taste good. It’s been a year since I last went for dinner. I remembered why I hadn’t been back in a year. It’s too bad because it’s a great vibe, the staff is nice and the food looks good. It just isn’t.

dining with the staff at One53 never disappoints. Craig is a very attentive bartend and host, Manny always anticipates beverage refills and Scott's hospitality is always gracious!
Faith was incrediably accomodationg to my needs, she made great suggestions and made my experience one to remember. Thank you One 53!
Good food and great ambiance. We were well attended to but for the price point, we expected much more from the food. Starting squash soup was OK, not great. I had the swordfish special. The swordfish was prepared well but for $45, I would have expected something a bit more upscale than shoestring fries as a side. For dessert we had the tiramisu which was light and creamy but otherwise tasteless and the chocolate bread pudding which was more pudding than bread. The texture was just off.
Always a great meal, always a great time. Their double cut pork chop is the best I've ever had. The service was friendly and very knowledgeable. The wine list is excellent and reasonably priced. And the high end wines by the glass are most welcome. And bent spoon ice cream is on the dessert menu
One of our absolute favorite places in the area. Great drinks and service. Always delicious food. Had a really tasty Oktoberfest special schnitzel with sauerkraut and spatzle.
Went for my daughter's 26th birthday. 7 o'clock reservation. We're out of main fish dish inexplicably on a Friday night at 7. 2 dishes came wrong. Food lacked flavor and seasoning. When one of the wrong dishes came back others had all but finished their meals or food would have been cold. Bread they sent to table waschewy and bean spread for it had virtually no flavor at all.Second time here. Overpriced and unprofessional cooking. Very disappointed. Spent over $350. Didn't make a big deal of it because didnt want ruin daughters birthday dinner.

Such a perfect night! Dinner was scrumptious, our server was just lovely and we loved every bite!
Came for my birthday and it was disappointing. Overpriced, extremely long waiting and bad service, food was just okay. Won’t come back.

Good place but not as good as I remember. Food used to be exceptional. Still good but pricey. Service was good.

Absolutely amazing! We celebrated our baby’s baptism here and everything was perfect, the food was exceptional, the service, and every detail was truly flawless. Faith and the staff went ABOVE and beyond to make the day so special for our family and guests. Truly unforgettable! One of the best events we’ve ever thrown.

Service was great. Manager came by to say hello. Ambiance outside was lovely. Food is always good.
I have found the servers aloof and not creating the warm and welcoming ambience that could be possible.
The food and service was very good. We were seated in the “wine cellar” which was much quieter than main floor. We will definitely return.
