“Not sure why I waited so long to try this place but glad I finally got around to it. Warning: make reservations or be prepared to wait on the weekends. We arrived an hour before our reservation and enjoyed some drinks at the bar. Speaking of, be prepared to stand in a rather small, crowded space. But drinks help you forget about that. I tried the grapefruit cocktail and they certainly didn't water that drink down. Next up, the main event! We started with the pork belly fries which were tasty and perfect for sharing. I got the burger with short rib which was delicious. The service was fairly quick and friendly; honestly I was shocked they didn't rush us out considering it was nearing closing time. I'd return to try more burgers but I'd prefer lunch or a weekday since parking here is very limited with barely any street parking in sight.”
“Hands down my favorite restaurant in NJ. Relaxed casual atmosphere. Wait staff and hosts could not be friendlier or more helpful. Food is fantastic --especially mussels with sausage, double-cut pork chop, fish of the day, Almond joy sorbet is a great way to finish the night.”
“Before reading this review I'll state Chicken Tikka Masala is my favorite dish. Take that into account when reading this review.I've had the pleasure of visiting Biryani City for lunch twice now, and each visit has been a delightful experience.Upon entering, the first thing you notice is the cleanliness of the place, which immediately sets a welcoming tone. The atmosphere is very nice and has tables that have lights in them. It's clear that the owners have put thought into creating an environment that's both pleasant and authentic.I came to try the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was tender, well-marinated, and the sauce had just the right balance of creaminess and spice, capturing the essence of what makes this dish a favorite. The portion sizes are generous, offering good value for the price, and the service matches the high standard set by the food. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure guests are satisfied without being intrusive.Overall, my experiences have been thoroughly enjoyable. It's a place I'd happily recommend to anyone looking for Indian cuisine served in a welcoming setting. .”
“First time at done right diner Laban and enjoyed the food and service. Great tasting sandwich in a mall location and value priced - what more can one ask for. Turkish tea was complementary- a pleasant ”
“The weather was nice today. Sun was out, the sunroof was open. Went for a drive with my niece and stopped in to Sweet Parlor Ice Cream Shop in Hilllsborough for some sweet treats. I had not been through Hillsborough in a while and decided to check out was was new in town to me. This place was great! They had some unique offerings that I took an interest in immediately. We decided to try the U-Be My Bae Sundae and the Sweet Tea Bubble Waffle Sundae. They looked great, and more importantly tasted even better! Not overly sweet and the different textures of crunch, creamy, and soft bites were all present and quite pleasant. I will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu. Thank you Sweet Parlor for tending to my craving!”
“Vegetarian options: I particularly liked the Mumbai style cheese garlic Vadapav , Amul pav bhaji, Raj kachori and the soda. Will come back for more trials! Also friendly staff!”
“I have loved this place for years. Finally came back today and it is still just as awesome as it has been since the last time I came in 2015. We got the rose with cookies and cream- absolutely incredible. Even the vanilla is amazing. Truly some of the best (if not the best) ice cream Ive ever had. And the ladies working were awesome- so kind and friendly. And the area is very nice too to walk around. Next time id love to try their cupcakes and cookies too- they looked delish!”
“Attached to the Marketfair Mall, Seasons 52 of Princeton offers a peaceful dining experience, even for large groups and leans more towards light options, such as salads, along with seafood and vegetarian options. We were there for a birthday party with a large group of about 12 people, but the staff managed our group well and accommodated our requests, including easily splitting the check at the end of the night. We found ourselves in the back room, which was nice, but it felt a bit odd with people from the mall walking by and peeking in at the large window peers into a mall entrance, which gave a slightly uncomfortable feeling of being watched. The cocktail selection was nice, mostly looked as it was catering to wine connoisseurs as I didn't see a beer list. I opted for their Bourbon & Berries cocktail which worked though in hindsight I should have gone for bourbon on the rocks. As for the food, I opted for the lamb, which was flavorful, though perhaps a tad more salty than I prefer. Overall, it was a delicious meal that satisfied my hunger. While I don't frequent Seasons 52 often, this experience has me considering another visit in the future.”
“One of our favorites! The food is always fantastic, the servers could not be more attentive, and the atmosphere is lively and charming. A real hidden gem in the area.”
“After doing an a very important and impromptu weeklong survey of the area’s pastry shops while visiting Princeton, these are the best in town. I’m not sure why they never seem busy–the pastry is sensational”
“So far been there twice, both times on a Friday. Few minutes walk from the game shop nearby, and I also noticed it's a bit hidden, behind some "man cave" or whatever. ANYWAY... First Friday of the month has acoustic karaoke which is very interesting but worth it, place is usually pretty packed and with all the wood fixtures, it was very loud but works for the environment. Food is only provided by outside sources but they sometimes host food trucks within stumbling distance. Have an outdoor fire pit but didn't get details about it. Anyway, they have a non-beer option for the gluten-free drinkers but only one flavor is a little... narrow. Hopefully they'll plan to expand it soon because "mango" isn't exactly a flavor most people would gravitate to. Drinkable for the time being but I would love to see other options.”
“As an expat Manhattanite who has been lucky enough to visit some of NYC's finest restaurants, I always tread carefully into what my friends have called a "great" suburban restaurant, as I have been disappointed too many times. Blue Bottle Cafe had the typical Hopewell-Princeton feel, an old home converted into a restaurant with several rooms, adored with a few interesting oil paintings. The first disappointment was a wait staff with no personality, no panache and no class. The hostess/wait person sat us, after some confusion as to where to put us, and then pulled out a pen and asked if we were ready to order or wanted more time, much the way a short order cook would. When we asked for tap water without ice (when will suburban restaurants start doing the smart thing, and simply put down a large carafe of water (NO ICE) on the table, so we don't have to keep asking for refills nor do we have to deal with freezing, too-cold-to sip water?) we were simply ignored. At this point, I was thinking, this is not going to be anything special. But then...the food arrived. My friend and I shared a stupendous Brussels sprouts starter, cold, crunchy and touched off by some white, cream-like sauce that was a slice of heaven. The bread, which I am told comes from a local bread company (also, the bread at a restaurant speaks volumes of both care and quality of owner/chef) was rustic, flavorful and served with already softened butter (a nice touch). My main, crispy scallops, were silky tender and mouth-wateringly tasty. And the chocolate profiteroles for dessert managed to taste decadent and light at the same time. To the owners, I say this: please take the ice out of your water, and find a way to re-train your staff. They do not measure up to the elegance and quality of your food.”
“I’ve been enjoying the Creole Bistro menu for many months now. I have tried the Oxtail , Fried Pork, and Chicken Stew Entrees. They have all been really good, the oxtail was very tender, the pork was seasoned well and the chicken was fall off the bone. My favorite is the chicken stew, I’ve gotten it the most from the Creole Menu. You will also get some tasty pickled cabbage with carrots and sweet or green plantains. I get the sweet ones, and they are really good! The portions are a good size, I always have at least 2 meals with it, which makes me happy! I’m glad that this Creole menu is available!I can’t forget to mention a favorite baked item, their plain croissants are a favorite and are tasty on their own but I like to use them to make a breakfast sandwich.Definitely come out to try the Creole menu, croissants and the rest of their menu!”
“Staff was really nice both in person and over the phone! Food was so good I cried. They make really nice salads as an included side and it was so crisp I thought I tasted the windVegetarian options: They will absolutely remove any eggs, meat and fish sauce if you ask, they were super good about it too.”
“I love the placeParking: Excelente restaurante, para disfrutar en familia para los que disfrutan un buen vino ? buena pasta excelente servicio . El mejor pan ? fresco caliente .”
“We were so excited to come to this place after researching best Indian places in this area and reading the reviews . This place definitely did not disappoint ! From the ambiance, to the eclectic yet still Indian inspired cocktails to the fabulous and tasty food! Our server, Vaidehi, was patient, courteously and very knowledgeable about the menu. We had a fantastic time at this restaurant. You should definitely come and try this place whenever you are craving high end service and food!”
“I am a regular at this wonderful tea shop, and each visit reaffirms why I keep coming back. The owner is exceptionally kind and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Their pepper salt popcorn chicken and bbq sausages are simply delightful, always crispy and packed with flavor. And let's not forget about their jasmine milk tea—it's the perfect blend of fragrant jasmine and creamy goodness. The consistency and quality of their beverages and snacks are truly commendable.I highly recommend stopping by this gem of a tea shop if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed!”
“Incredible! Couldn't wait to write the review. We were a party of 6 adults and 2 kids. We ordered variety of dishes. This is not your typical Indian restaurant. The flavors were excellent and out of this world. Only thing is I felt the food was very salty. But can't wait to come back!”
“The food is wonderful! I had the best Chilean Sea bass, my husband loved the scallops, our friends loved their food too. From the appetizers to dessert the meal was absolutely delicious. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. If it is crowded it does get noisy.”
“Stopped in to order something different today. I orderd the chicken Alfredo pizza, and shrimp scampi. The pizza was delicious, and had fresh lettuce. The shrimp scampi, tasted different to me because I'm use to more sauce. The customer service was good, and my order was cooked to order.”
“Got my favorite lettuce wrap. I got it in Dallas, California and now in NJ. Different sauces but end result still satisfying. I enjoyed my “me” time! I got awesome Jola as my server!”
“Blawenburg Bistro is my favorite brunch spot! The food is fantastic and has such amazing flavors, and the staff is always so welcoming. I also always have to leave room for dessert even if I’m full from my meal because their desserts are something I never want to miss out on.”
“Deeeelicious paella served by Jeesse! Stopped here on our way from New Hope, PA to NYC since we wanted to have paella. We researched and found this great corner place in Princeton, NJ! The food is reasonably priced, very tasty, and the portions are generous. You can bring your own booze if you choose. Glad we found it! Yum!”
“We had a wonderful dinner here. Great vibe, good drinks, fresh sea food and attentive service. Generous portions too...I am used to a scallops plate having 3-4 pieces. Mine came with 10!”
“The best baklava I’ve had in a long time! The spanakopita is also very flavorful and delicious. Irene, thank you for the warm welcome. I look forward to my next visit soon.”
“Amazing food...amazing staff. The expansion is amazing. There is mthe re room. More tables both inside and out. The food is as great as ever. Try the crab cakes....try the adult grilled cheese...save room for their scratch baked ”
“Without a doubt, some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Even my husband who is typically so-so about sushi thoroughly enjoyed it. The other local sushi restaurants don’t even compare to this one. I just had dinner there and can’t wait to get takeout this week!”
“Great food tuna and lamb chops are my favorite. Great outdoor seating in the summer was a little disappointed with upstairs back room used for meeting, a bit dark and dated.”
“Eve was our server and she was great. She made our experience a pleasure. We had an issue and the manager came promptly to resolve it perfectly. Very appreciative of the staff there.”
“Love this place. Best coffee and traditional Jersey breakfast sandwich in the area. We always stop here on our way up to North Jersey. Don’t expect fancy, just expect very solid bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll (I ask them to grill the roll) with hot sauce. Coffee is excellent.”
