“I really like Ya Ya noodles! When you sit down, they give you delicious chips with orange sauce and hot tea. I like the fried dumplings as an appetizer. If you're looking for a very healthy dish, the steamed chicken and vegetables is amazing! It's as tasty as a healthy dish can be. I usually order the sesame chicken. The meat quality here is what impresses me the most. It's all white meat chicken and there's never any funny pieces (I'm a picky eater). The only thing that's missing here is a dessert menu.”

For example, tonight I made a mistake and complained that I was charged the wrong amount. The owners graciously looked it up and called me back. It turns out I was not charged incorrectly. “My family and I were waiting to eat at the cheesecake factory across the way and I was thirsty and stopped here to get some water. A very nice guy started telling me about the food and then let me try some of the chicken. It was soo good!! Very flavorful and moist! I ended up going back to the Cheesecake Factory and convincing my family to come eat here instead for dinner. Everything was delicious! My daughter and I got 2 boxes with the chicken and both fries and rice and my husband got the chicken sandwich. Everything was wonderful. Would definitely eat here again. Nice to have something unique to eat around here with yummy flavors. :)”

“The weather was nice today. Sun was out, the sunroof was open. Went for a drive with my niece and stopped in to Sweet Parlor Ice Cream Shop in Hilllsborough for some sweet treats. I had not been through Hillsborough in a while and decided to check out was was new in town to me. This place was great! They had some unique offerings that I took an interest in immediately. We decided to try the U-Be My Bae Sundae and the Sweet Tea Bubble Waffle Sundae. They looked great, and more importantly tasted even better! Not overly sweet and the different textures of crunch, creamy, and soft bites were all present and quite pleasant. I will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu. Thank you Sweet Parlor for tending to my craving!”

“Oh man, this neighborhood really needed a cute little coffee shop! I went here with a couple of friends and we were immediately greeted by the exuberant owner. I wasn’t expecting much (because admittedly I’m a coffee snob) but I was blown away! The coffee was delicious! And the place was so much cuter than expected. “A staple in this area. Always worth the wait. Yes, there is no seating and there is always a long line. And yes, it's cash only. But it is well worth it! The staff is friendly, the store is very quaint. But the ice cream is absolutely one of the best out there. It's the perfect spot to cap off your evening. They close at 10 pm, which is a huge bonus. I never miss a chance to pass by here whenever I'm in Princeton.”

“As an expat Manhattanite who has been lucky enough to visit some of NYC's finest restaurants, I always tread carefully into what my friends have called a "great" suburban restaurant, as I have been disappointed too many times. Blue Bottle Cafe had the typical Hopewell-Princeton feel, an old home converted into a restaurant with several rooms, adored with a few interesting oil paintings. The first disappointment was a wait staff with no personality, no panache and no class. The hostess/wait person sat us, after some confusion as to where to put us, and then pulled out a pen and asked if we were ready to order or wanted more time, much the way a short order cook would. When we asked for tap water without ice (when will suburban restaurants start doing the smart thing, and simply put down a large carafe of water (NO ICE) on the table, so we don't have to keep asking for refills nor do we have to deal with freezing, too-cold-to sip water?) we were simply ignored. At this point, I was thinking, this is not going to be anything special. But then...the food arrived.My friend and I shared a stupendous Brussels sprouts starter, cold, crunchy and touched off by some white, cream-like sauce that was a slice of heaven. The bread, which I am told comes from a local bread company (also, the bread at a restaurant speaks volumes of both care and quality of owner/chef) was rustic, flavorful and served with already softened butter (a nice touch). My main, crispy scallops, were silky tender and mouth-wateringly tasty. And the chocolate profiteroles for dessert managed to taste decadent and light at the same time. To the owners, I say this: please take the ice out of your water, and find a way to re-train your staff. They do not measure up to the elegance and quality of your food.”

“Our first time trying this restaurant. Super friendly owner and super clean establishment. Authentic Mexican food.We both ordered La Unica Bowl with cochinita pulled pork. The food itself was extremely fresh and well prepared. However, the pulled pork was EXTREMELY salty. Burn your mouth kind of salty . It was so salty, it affected the enjoyment of the meal. Perhaps this was a mistake. We are willing to try again, but if this amount of salt is the norm, we will not be returning ?”
