Stopped in for lunch today and I will never be back in again!! The women at the counter are the ruddiest. They barely speak and they NEVER say thank you. I once phoned an order in and had a friend pick it up for me and when I received it, my credit card number was written down on a piece of paper and stapled to the bag. Complete carelessness!! I gave them one too many chances to try to appreciate their customers.

I have been going here for so many years, and overall have enjoyed it. In the last couple of years, I have been frustrating upon ordering food…long wait, sandwiches that come pretty basic…takes awhile for acknowledgment at the counter, and overall poor attitude from a handful of the employees. For overpriced food and items, it feels disappointing being met with little friendliness.

Today was my second time going to Fairchilds. The breakfast food is amazing, and I hope to try the lunch food some other time. Compared to other bagel shops and delis nearby, this is one of the best.

Fairchilds is my mothers and I’s favorite lunch spot, for many years we would come sit down and have lunch (they no longer have tables inside to eat), the food and the prepared sandwiches are exactly what to expect from a top tier deli and marketplace. The transformation into a full market including meats, cheeses, Nic-nacks, lots and lots of wine (with the coolest wine ladder) we always come in for lunch. They have one small table out in the back of the parking lot that we have used. Putting the food aside, the ladies at the counter are always so kind and helpful. The last time I was in they had just ran out of my favorite -their homemade oatmeal rasin cookies, counting the days until I’m back to go get some more.
Nice little spot for sandwiches , but the adult women (not the teenagers) working the counter and the register need to find out if they can exchange their personalities for better ones . What poor attitudes for adults who should know better working with the public . I received my order and I said thank you and got a "aha" from the old cranky woman working the register . If you can't get a better attitude at the very least learn some minimal manners .

I been driving by at my lunch and assumed this was mostly cheeses and wine, I'm so glad I stopped in. They have a lot of fresh foods, deserts, and a delicious deli. Store is clean, staff is very friendly and I love their salads!
