Today was my second time going to Fairchilds. The breakfast food is amazing, and I hope to try the lunch food some other time. Compared to other bagel shops and delis nearby, this is one of the best.
Fairchilds is my mothers and I’s favorite lunch spot, for many years we would come sit down and have lunch (they no longer have tables inside to eat), the food and the prepared sandwiches are exactly what to expect from a top tier deli and marketplace. The transformation into a full market including meats, cheeses, Nic-nacks, lots and lots of wine (with the coolest wine ladder) we always come in for lunch. I have been going here for so many years, and overall have enjoyed it. In the last couple of years, I have been frustrating upon ordering food…long wait, sandwiches that come pretty basic…takes awhile for acknowledgment at the counter, and overall poor attitude from a handful of the employees. For overpriced food and items, it feels disappointing being met with little friendliness.
