The pastrami was cut beyond edible. And it had more than 50% fat. It was super disgusting. And the owner was yelling at the staff and cursing. And I also ordered a brisket disco fries and it came with cheddar and American cheese. I never heard of disco fries with America and or Cheddar. It's always with mozzarella cheese. And the prices are bonkers for the food and service. Will definitely never step foot near there.
I ordered two regular corned beef sandwiches but they sent me two pastrami ruebens instead with barely 1 ounce of meat in each one. The rye bread was fried in that carcinogenic fake liquid butter which made me nauseous after one bite. The sauerkraut (which i didn't order) was horrible. I know it's supposed to be sour, but I've never had kraut this sour before. It completely overpowers every other disgusting flavor in the sandwich. Imagine squeezing a whole lemon on your pastrami sandwich. That's what it tasted like. Uber gave me a refund for this garbage.
After an injury left my body quite defeated and loss of appetite, I recovered. One of my first cravings was for a pastrami sandwich. Not wanting to go to NYC to the traditional tourist traps, i decided to research, best pastrami sandwich in NJ. To my surprise I found a couple of places that were highly rated. One seemed ridiculously over priced. Pastrami and Pickles was an hour away from my home but, I trusted the recent reviews and the pictures I saw. So, I took a ride, still recovering but hungry for my first meal outside hospital food.I'm so happy to have made the trip. So many food options, so many great specials listed, I stuck to my plan and cravings and ordered their Pastrami and corned beef sandwich. Impressive freshness, very personal and attentive service. Fantastic staff and reasonable pricing. It was one of the best pastrami sandwiches I've ever had. Looking forward to going back and I've already raved about it to all my friends. If you are craving delicious, homemade, creative foods, you must make the trip.
Good Pastrami sandwich. There's plenty of meat. Ill be going back.
At first l thought the price was too high but the sandwich was fantastic. I had a pastrami on rye and the meat was tasty , fresh and delicious . THE serving was huge and the Cole slaw was totally delightful. I am now a true fan and would recommend without reservation
Ok...Tried starting '22 off with a good meal, FAILED horribly! I ordered some brisket disco fries and a cornbeef and pastrami sandwich for dessert haha. The fries were undercooked, gravy was like water and for God's learn how to get your fat to meat ratio right with the brisket!! The sandwich was piled high but very poorly made. Condiments that came with the sandwich were almost non existent. The cole slaw served to me was very poorly chopped and in BIG pieces, as to where its was very hard to eat with a fork. I don't know why I am complaining about that anyway, it tasted like someone tossed it low fat mayo mixed with water. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed and upset with my experience here and will NOT being going back. Don't waste your money on this establishment.
Pastrami sandwich was excellent. Juicy, tender and well seasoned. Staff were quick and friendly. Highly recommended!
I drove an hour and 15 minutes from pa to try this place out. The pastrami was great. But I wanted my bread grilled like a grilled cheese. My daughter ordered the roselle park heaven. She loved it. The slaw was plain Jane but we came for the sandwiches. Will be going back in the spring because I don't know what the winter Weather will bring.
Pastrami was so tasty. I will definitely return for a sandwich! ☆☆☆☆☆ on the meat!I also ordered kanish and I've never had it fried before they were always baked. I wasn't a fan of them fried ?
Food was good and you get a lot of meat based on what you choose. The thing that I didn't like was the person cutting the meat didn't clean the meat cutter before cutting my meat to make the sandwiches. Also the store could have been better cleaned.

Great food will be back most definitely I really have to start trying new things
Sandwich was great! Meat melts in your mouth they gave me some while i was waiting a plus lol! The deviled eggs can use Mayo & some seasoning pretty dry other then that this place is great .
Don't miss this "hole in the wall" spot, almost across from the Roselle Park Municipal Complex on Westfield Ave. in Roselle Park. Great size sandwiches. I got the Reuben (at $21 a bit pricey, but really two meals in one). They are on all the delivery services and the pastrami is thefocus. Wish the pickles had been "New" or "Half Sour" instead of just dill, but the slaw was pretty good, too.
The food was delicious, sandwiches overstuffed and reminiscent of Long Island Kosher Deli's. The owner was very responsive to our needs. I highly recommend!
Pastrami sandwich is above the rest. Very flavorful. Move over Katz, this one bites the dust
