Stephanie's BBQ II (Roselle Park)

I normally loveeeee this place food always arrives hot , fresh and within a quick amount of time but lately they have been falling short. I called and ordered the number 10 fish and when I tell you I was served the tiniest fish. I also ordered buffalo wings and got regular wings which wasn’t the biggest deal my main issue was placing the order. I repeated my order 3 times 3 different ways and still it came messed up .

The food at this restaurant is genuinely excellent and deserves recognition. Unfortunately, the customer service does not match the quality of the food.

After raising a concern in a respectful manner, instead of receiving clarification or support, I was blocked from contacting the business. My friend was also blocked, which was especially disappointing. Blocking customers for providing feedback is not a professional or appropriate way to handle concerns.

Constructive feedback should be viewed as an opportunity to improve, not as something to silence. While the food is very good, the overall experience was negatively impacted by how the situation was handled. I hope management takes steps to improve their communication and customer service moving forward.

I bought a Flan, never in my life did I have a flan like the one I ordered, usually Portuguese places have good Flan, this place is making Flan from a Royal box or something,. please if I want to buy Flan it better be good not from a box.

Two ladies that were up front (one younger and one older) had crazy nasty attitudes. But hey, if you speak Spanish, they’re nice to you and you’ll get great service. One and done for me! I’ll never return.

Ordered a bitoque and got a steak and egg. The sauce is what constitutes a bitoque. This was just steak and egg. Very disappointed

Ordered 1/2 chicken with rice and fries, price on the menu was 11$ was charged $16. Not to mention they included pork on top of my chicken, I am allergic to pork !

Need to make sure you have different stations for chicken/pork/beef and let customers know. Otherwise you’re in a for a lawsuit.

So today 11/10/2025.i order steak & shrimp combo,and I must say this was the worst food ever.the steak was tuff i had to season it with oil,butter, onion,garlic & westchester sauce and recook it.the beans was plain the sauce from the beans was thick,the yellow rice had a baby spoon of vegetables, and I never received the shrimp.call the restaurant and they was no help. First they said contact uber because he never asked for the shrimp. Howis the Uber driver ask for shrimp? When your package is already bagged and ready to be delivered. Then she.
Told me I can come to roseanne park and pick up the shrimp cause they don't deliver to my location, i'm sorry but they will never receive my service again.

This was the best BBQ chicken we ever tasted, I am 💯 Portuguese, I should know…this was absolutely delicious way, way much better than Churasco in Union, The food was so good, we were still talking about it 2 days later, my husband loved the chicken, the people were very friendly when I walked up to pick up, i highly recommend this place.

Food is good but the charge 15 per cent which they claim is tax when New Jersey is only 7 per cent.

I went to Stephanie's for a quick lunch the older lady was nice and the food was good but they forgot the red beans with my meal. I ate some of my food and said to the younger lady working ( older lady was on break eating) I'm going to take the rest to go can I have a container and the red beans that I ordered with my meal. She double checked my order and said we didn't charge you for them. I said but they were ordered and I would like to take them with the rest of my food. She scratched the RB off the order and said it's the same price with out with our them. I said fine then noticed I was paying a $3.02 added on top for poor service. I asked for water didn't get any. The food was decent but the customer service was poor.

I was charged $26.31 for a half order of beef rib with rice and fries($16.50) and 2 snapples($2.75/each)...the woman said I was charged an additional service fee...I asked what was that charge and she said its because she brought me my food...(never heard that ever for this type of place)....that's ridiculous because I wasn't waited on, she isn't a waitress...so why the charge...I'll never go back, its plenty of these type of places to eat in north jersey...I wouldn't recommend Stephanie bbq in roselle Park on Westfield Ave to anyone.
