I've been coming here for over 7yrs. This place has changed a lot. They are overpriced with the new people in charge. It's not the same dine-in anymore they don't tell you about the hidden cost of each food until you receive the bill. You be surprised when you see the bill. They charged me for something they didn't tell me had an extra fee. The owner didn't want to honor the fact that they didn't tell me about an extra fee they put on the bill without my knowledge. She was adamant about not satisfying her customers and didn't care about that. 🤔😒 And the food is not the best anymore anyway, they throw cheese on top of your scrambled eggs they don't mix it in. My advice. Watch your meal price, because you'll get to the counter and see price hikes 🤨 and the owner she doesn't care how you feel about it. I'm not eating there anymore. Didn't like the food anyway. They never have a lot of customers there no more anyway. I guess that's why. Smh!!! 👎

Great family atmosphere. Great staff Nick is the best. 2 many nice people to name. owners very nice always chat with customers. And food is really good recommend Hawaiian chicken . Don't want to leave out anyone but Alana n lilly(shining) are great.great breakfast n dinner specials. Great choice

Nothing beats a Jersey diner and let me tell you… this one is the BEST! Such a friendly, welcoming staff. Ran by such a sweet family and it shows. Huge menu with so much variety. Highly recommend their buffalo chicken wrap and their seasonal pumpkin spice pancakes. Proposal to make this a year round item ? don’t get me started on the olive oil they sell... can’t say enough good things! Definitely recommend you stop in.

This place is next level!!! Food is top quality, restaurant atmosphere is so cozy and clean, booths were super comfortable and the staff is so friendly and makes you feel right at home! We ordered their seasonal pumpkin pancakes for the table along with our lunch order and they were a home run!

Only 3 more Somerset Patriots Passport Diner to go!! The Sunrise Diner is a good addition to our diner line up. Excellent food!! The Sunrise breakfast Sammy (special) was outstanding. Service was a little spotty but can certainly be adjusted with a little more training. The customers were diverse with lots of families. Everyone enjoying a good time. So nice!! There is a ramp for accessibility, but it doubles as an emergency exit. The bathroom setup is also tight with several doors to handle and tight hallway. Dedicated parking lot.
I strongly disagree with this review from Mary MarigraceB. I've been a loyal customer for years, and this diner is consistently well-run with exceptional food and service. The claim of waiting 30 minutes for a simple order sounds exaggerated and out of character for the establishment. Comparing a high-quality dining experience to fast food like McDonald's is absurd and misleading. It's disappointing to see such a review attempting to tarnish the reputation of a place that has clearly delivered excellent service to many. I stand by this diner and its dedicated staff—definitely worth the visit!
