I had the privilege of enjoying a variety of tasty savory dishes at a catered event. The food was skillfully prepared and delicious. There were a variety of dishes to choose from: pasta and rice dishes, patties were perfectly done without being overly spicy. The owner, Rosemary, is a delight putting a lot of love and attention to detail into her cuisine.

Normally I just get beef patties from here but yesterdsy I decided to give something else on the menu a try . I went for oxtails black rice and beans . The oxtails were ok they didn’t have that Caribbean spice I was expecting and the black rice and beans were spoiled . I know spoiled rice by the smell and taste . Very highly disappointed and very much not ok to serve old food 👎🏻 For the amount of money I spent my food should have been fresh .

I don't mind paying for quality and quantity, but I purchased a large oxtail rice and pea w/steam cabbage. The plate was like a small plate compared to the jamaican spot in linden. Ill leave the name out. My first and last time at this spot.

I’m someone who doesn’t mind paying for quality food—I genuinely love to eat. Unfortunately, this restaurant hasn’t delivered on value for the price. The portions, especially the meat, are consistently disappointing. Each time I’ve ordered the large oxtail, I’ve received only 3–4 small pieces, which is simply not enough. I’ve had a similar experience with the jerk chicken as well. On a positive note, the beef patties are flavorful and well-made. That said, I believe they really need to reconsider their portion sizes and overall value. If not, they risk losing loyal customers.
They are very stingy with their food and services is horrible. Ordered 2 large soups to get all broth and only ONE piece of meat Ridiculous and the soup tatste like pepper and water !! They need to do better. i called to ask about it and they hung up the phone. Spend your money somewhere else it's so no worth it.

Honestly I’m very disappointed in this food. I ordered it for lunch and I don’t feel the portions or quality matched the price. Online it says curry chicken is $12 but then when you click it, it forces you to choose either a medium or a large which adds $6 to $8 dollars. The curry chicken lacked a lot of flavor. So did the cabbage. The snapper was very fishy. All of the sides between both dishes were truly not the best at all. The chocolate cake was extremely dry. It was like I was eating a piece of bread with frosting. And the potato salad was oddly sweet. I don’t know if this was an off day however I’ve never eaten here before and it was a very poor first impression.
