This is worst restaurant in New Jersey. Food is disgusting. They take your money and serve you rubbish (malpropte) . I urge you people not to waste time going there to waste your money and loose your appetite. Sa se radot, ou achete on soup yo ba ou li San viande epi li su. Ampil acid. Legume yo ba ou li ak viande turkey ou chicken pendan ke yo charge w pou beuf ak pork. When you complain they don’t even care to address your concerns. Sauce Poule du, excessive acid. Very sour. This is one of the best Haitian food spot in the Union County, New Jersey in terms of taste and service. They stay professional unlike other Haitian spots that have horrible customer service. This is my spot and they deserve a good reputation.

Their food is always delicious I’ve been supporting this business for about 3-4 years now but lately I’d go in there and kindly order my food as always and the attitudes are so bad for no reason at all. Terrible Experience - Found an Insect in My Food
I visited MD restaurant, I always excited to try their food. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. As I was eating, I noticed a strange taste and quickly realized that I had just chewed on an insect that was in my food. This was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of care and hygiene is inexcusable. I strongly urge others to think twice before dining here. Food safety should be a top priority, and this restaurant failed miserably.

Service should be 0.5 stars, .5 because they picked up the phone. The person was very rude, tone was off and very condescending when we said it is our first time ordering. The order in question was a large fritay poul that includes FOUR plantains, FOUR akras, Four marinade and FIVE pieces of meat for TWENTY DOLLARS! How can a LARGE order have only 4 Plantains??? And she has the nerve to say it would feed 2 /3 adults! How???
I'm always on the go and stop in a lot of places but this place got me. Before I went in I was second guessing myself but when I walked in I was greater by an older gentleman I told him I never ate at a Haitian place so he guided me on everything. I don't eat beans because now one makes it good or ok but this place got me because the beans where so good I ate it all. I dint find the rude service that I read on Google after buying here. I thought it was great service which I rarely get. Most places rush you or make you wait. They where patient with me and helped me on my order and the guy even gave me a free drink. I definitely will be coming back and am planning to bring my family to buy from here. I order the white rice with beans and fried chicken. It came with salad some sauces beware one is spicy lol. But I love the service and will be back for sure. Thank you
