I'm American and this was the first Haitian restaurant that I've tried and since I've tried many others and none can compare to MD. My favorite is the Lalo spinach with rice and a side of pikliz, I have also had their fried turkey and chicken, And the legume... DELICIOUS! I've come multiple times since 2021 and it may have been only twice when I wasn't entirely satisfied.
This is one of the best Haitian food spot in the Union County, New Jersey in terms of taste and service. They stay professional unlike other Haitian spots that have horrible customer service. This is my spot and they deserve a good reputation.
Their food is always delicious I’ve been supporting this business for about 3-4 years now but lately I’d go in there and kindly order my food as always and the attitudes are so bad for no reason at all. Consistent supporting customers or any customers at all should not be treated with such nasty attitudes. Please smile and speak with kindness.
