THIS PLACE HAS SOME OF THE BEST JAMAICAN FOOD I HAVE HAD AND I'VE BEEN TO JAMAICA. I have been going to this restaurant for years ; we love it at the office and at home it's amazing and always fresh .

Kid-friendliness: They might be all over the place but I have been going here for years and they are super friendly and always ask how I'm doing

Recommended dishes: Sweet Plantains

While the food tastes okay, if they don't have something they will replace it with something you did not ask for (WITHOUT informing you). Unacceptable. I swear the food tastes different every time and the presentation is always sloppy. Honestly, I'd go elsewhere.

Roaches ??‍? that's all .... Was waiting on my order that I placed on doordash said it was ready so I came to pick it up but it wasn't ready. Had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for it to be ready as I was waiting. I saw roaches is growing up the walls and it just made my skin crawl. I like the food but I don't think I'm going to visit again...

I never eat in here before. I work as a delivery driver and this place is disgusting. Flies and cockroach all over the place. I don’t recomend eat in there. The attention is gross and So unprofessional

I just bought some oxtail and what I see on the website is that's not what I get it is so nasty I couldn't eat my food I have to put it in the garbage

My very first time ever trying authentic Jamaican food and I am impressed with how delicious the food was. Oxtail was delicious along with the rice they both had a unique sweet taste. For not being a veggie eater I liked the cabbage that was included in the order. Good portion for most people but for me I need a large to be full. J*** Chicken was also delicious as it certainly satisfied my hunger beyond my expectation. This establishment definitely gives you hunger satisfying portions for your money. Definitely plan on ordering from here more often whether for carry out or delivery via Doordash.

The food is good. The rude old man in the window needs , a better attitude. Especially, when they always have the orders wrong. Instead of admitting there was a mistake , it was easier for him to be a NASTY OLD MAN! The lady behind the counter is always pleasant.If you want food with a bad attitude this is the place.

Absolutely was greeted with love. The older lady that served me was so nice. I love to support small businesses like this. I wanted to try the hibiscus drink. Definitely will go back. J*** Chicken was good. Oxtails was great as well. I usually ate Jamaican food from GoldenCrust in Irvington. And a few spots in Plainfield. Gotta give this spot a 9.5. Owners are inviting and loving. Check them out if your in the area.

The oxtail were okay. My bag was full of gravy unfortunately! They should consider accepting more payment options.

The food wasn’t tasty, not sure if it’s due to how late we stopped by but the food was 1/10. All of our dishes weren’t tasteful at all and the smell was horrible. The restaurants environment is not very clean and could use a deep cleaning and upgrade. The prices of the food was way too high for the quality !

The food is tasty, the fried whiting fish is out of this world. However, they don't know how to make roti, it's just skin and meat. The establishment needs an overhaul and one or two younger people. I see room for some improvements.

Never eaten here so I don’t know if the food is good but I want to warn any Uber/door dash/grub hub drivers to avoid this place like the plague. Never picked up an order here that was worth it as they don’t start the orders until you get there and expect you to wait 20 minutes.

This was my first time trying them and i already knew that I wasnt a fan by the way the restaurant looked inside! My meal was all over the place when they plated it. Chicken had no distinct shape or form because it was so mushed but i ate the food anyway because i was hungry. Hungry UNTIL I FOUND A PIECE OF ORANGE BRILLO PAD IN MY FOOD! I called the restaurant to inform them of my uninvited guest in my food. They were apologetic and offered me a new plate but i was not in the mood for another mishap. I have a video of it but i don't know how to post it on here.

Great food. Not sure if I was charged for the pineapple upside down cake that wasn't in the tied bag since there also wasn't a receipt.
