I don't see what all the fuss is about. The place has the usual seaside-chic decor with the nautical theme you would expect in Monmouth County. The waitress was polite but very rushed and took our order without too much of a wait. I love New England Clam Chowder and ordered some here. What I got was a small crock filled with goodness but was taken aback by how little I got for the cost. Hamburgers were ordered next. What we got was an oversized Kaiser roll with a really tasteless hamburger in the middle. The balance of beef to bread was way off. The potato chips were the bottom-of-the bag bits and pieces that I get at home. The pickle was older and well past its prime. I would think twice before re-visiting.

The food is fantastic, the seafood is fresh and delicious, but the 10 ounce burger is excellent! We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very attentive and made great drinks. Go early for dinner, it gets crowded quick, and the wait can get extensive. Excellent place with great food and a good vibe!
