Cups and Cakes Bakery ~ Juice Bar ~ Cafe

This bakery is incredible. Their cakes are not only beautiful, but they taste extraordinary. We were blown away by our daughter's birthday cake! Not only did it look just like the inspo photo, more importantly it tasted marvelous. The vanilla cake part is so perfect -- not too sweet and not dry! And finally -- a bakery that knows how to make actual genuine buttercream fosting that tastes the way the Good Lord meant it to taste. And the lemon curd filling provided the perfect tangy pop to this delightful confection.
It has been so hard to find a bakery that can make gorgeous cakes that taste homemade. It would seem C&Cs is using fresh, wholesome ingredients and not trying to cut corners. And it shows! We are ordering another cake for Sunday for a family party as I've heard their peanut butter buttercream frosting is legend (wait for it) ary.
Sadly, we cannot stop eating this cake. And there is a real fear. I will not fit into a bridesmaid dress this weekend for a wedding I am in. Small price to pay! Worth it.

Just had a piece of cake from this bakery at a birthday party. Oh my God absolutely wonderful. It was like a Devil Dog on steroids. I would definitely recommend them.

The most egregious prices in all of Rumson! Makes French Market look cheap! $45 for a 6 inch (more like 5 inch) apple pie! For 4 small slices that’s more than twice what you would pay in a restaurant heated up with ice cream and table service!

Ordered cupcakes for my birthday, and they were okay! They were a bit dry, (frosting and actual cake) and the frosting was alright. The design was cute, but they forgot to add a couple of things that I wanted. Overall it's good. Just a little disappointed of the dryness of the cake.

I picked up a cake for a bridal shower from Cups and Cakes, and it was amazing! Denise was very helpful via phone and email with planning the design and flavors. It was a lemon themed shower and the bride has some dietary restrictions, so we went with a gluten-free lemon cake with whipped cream filling and a buttercream finish. Not only was the cake beautiful, but everyone at the party raved about how moist and delicious it was! You would never even know it was gluten-free. I can't wait to try their other baked goods!

I just have to say that I helped myself to a Hot and Healthy today (lemon/parsley/ginger/honey and hot water) and it is AMAZING. I can’t describe how much better I feel with this delicious drink. Thank you!

Not only are the baked goods delicious, but the woman who was working behind the bakery counter was such a kind soul. I was having lunch down the street at a place where there was no restroom, and I went into 2 other businesses asking to use the restroom and was turned away. When I came here, she let me use the restroom even though it wasn’t for the public, and then sent me home with a complimentary lemon bar. It was so unexpectedly nice - I wish more people ran their businesses this way.

I ordered a birthday cake for a relatives’s birthday dinner. It was a standard cake, vanilla with chocolate buttercream. The cake was beautifully decorated and based on the reviews, I had high expectations for how it would taste. To be honest, the cake was dry and unmemorable. I think I could have baked a moister cake myself. For $75 I expected more. Very disappointed.

Everything is very yummy & they’re so nice in there. Their lemon bars are delightful

Went in here last minute for Mother’s Day treats. My grandmother and mother were very pleased and they are quite picky eaters. Grandmother described the red velvet cupcake as a perfect balance of flavors, and my mother devoured her chocolate cupcake and chocolate strawberry when she insisted she would save it for later.

Great variety of gluten free and always tasty.

Delicious buttercream icing and beautiful decorations make this a great stop for a special cake!
