Food was spectacular. Oysters were tangy from lemon and sauce. Turkey dinner was huge with thick slabs of turkey and fresh mashed potatoes and delicious stuffing. Way bigger portions than expected For dessert the pecan pie was atypical but delicious. It had a moist molasses like layer topped with pecans One of the best Thanksgiving restaurant dinners ever

Disgusting and deplorable. Laziest dining experience of our lives. David Burke needs to sit in his restaurant watching servers do nothing for 90 minutes. White Stripes and Radiohead blaring during our Thanksgiving meal...really?!? You people have lost your minds. $500* meal. Close your red door. Oh wait...after screwing up our order, your “manager” asked for my leftovers back so he could throw in my missing vegetables. Classy.

My Thanksgiving experience at this restaurant was terrible ! They brought the entree's out while still eating our appetizers. And most likely just placed our food in the pass after I complained, since the steak was over cooked and my Turkey dinner was not very good. This is unacceptable for the price being paid for this meal. Do not think i will be back ! I'm very disappointed because I have been a long time fan of David ! Ron Parsons

My husband and I dined at Red Horse last night and had a wonderful experience. We started with the tomato and blue cheese salad, which was absolutely amazing. For our main course, my husband enjoyed the New York strip while I had the filet mignon, both were cooked perfectly to our liking. The cauliflower side was good, but we wished it had been a bit softer with a stronger truffle flavor. For dessert, the apple tart with vanilla gelato was fantastic and the perfect ending to our meal. A special shout-out to our server, Emmett, who was friendly and provided excellent service throughout the night. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We definitely recommend Red Horse for a great dining experience!

Went to dinner the first night of restaurant week and had a wonderful experience and meal. Nadine our waitress was attentive and engaging. We loved her. Our 3 courses were outstanding and can’t wait to recommend this restaurant and come back again.

Went last night for my 60th Birthday. Popovers to start which has now become the new side, for which they charge, but this is the new normal. They were delicious. Courses were each delicious, and we finished with a chocolate concoction that was creamy and custardy and for one who doesn't care for chocolate? Really good. Nadine our waitress, was great and a breath of fresh air, keeping it real and refilling our drinks. One thing though, they need another salad on the menu. Other than that it was really good and we've been multiple times. Expensive yes, just south of $300 for two - but worth it.

This is our third time in the last 6 months at Red Horse in Rumson and for the third time in a row the food/ambiance/value were exceptional. The entire staff is extremely professional and friendly, but the food here is the star.
