I love this place. The food is phenomenal for the price. My favorite thing about this place. Nothing is overpriced at all. The service is also out of this world. Every server is wonderful, especially Amanda if you happen to get her.

Salt Creek Grille does everything well from start to finish. The service is always sharp, the food is excellent, and of course there’s the gorgeous river/sunset view. Full disclosure: my wife and I had our rehearsal dinner here 8 years ago, so I’ll always think of it fondly. Regardless, I know I’m going to have a quality experience every time we come here.

Good was average at best. Ribs tasted burnt, fries were cold. Garlic bread was dripping in oil. Service was aweful, Lots of servers walking around but noone was doing anything. We had to stop them for water. Silverware was dirty. Just way too loud to hear anything.

Honestly, I haven't been here in probably 15 years. Nothing has changed, I don't think. The decor just wasn't super inviting. The fire pit outside and fall decorations were the best part. We went for my husband's birthday with our 2 kids and spent a lot of money. For what we spent, I really felt like the food should have been amazing. It was decent, and came out hot and quickly, but just was ok. My son did love the sushi, so that was worth it. The server was also very attentive and good. Just felt a little disappointed with the experience.

Threw my daughters baby shower here. She had 60 guests upstairs overlooking the river. It was incredible! Everyone raved about the food and wine. We'll back for more celebrations! Thank you Barbara, Anthony, Julie and Tommy for excellent service and your patience with an anxious grandma. Lol

I own a place around rumson and when I stay here I like to spend at least a night at this restaurant. I love it food good drinks and wines even better . Last night I had a great server Rachel so professional and attentive . Will be back again as soon I came dawn to the shore again

I used to love Salt Creek Grille. It was a tradition to go for my husband’s birthday, and when we went this Tuesday it was like a different restaurant… first, we were never told the specials like the other tables, second my mojito was horrible- even my husband said something’s wrong with it. We really aren’t picky either and try not to be difficult but I had to send it back and got a water. BOTH steaks we got were over cooked- his NY strip done medium when asked for rare, and my steak frites also medium when asked for rare. Cappuccino tasted poorly, and to end it all they wouldn’t take the mojito off the bill! We didn’t even touch it. Unfortunately no more Salt Creek for us.

This place has gotten much better over the past few years. The food now is fantastic and the service is much better. As well, they do fantastic take-out. It is also a good party venue and is located on a beautiful property overlook the Navesink River.
