Very polite and friendly owners. Just visited once on the way to the train station. That’s good that they roast the beans on the spot. Good taste of mild coffee. Hope they will expand their lineup with some more acidity coffee species for the great specialty alternative experience.

Awesome coffee, awesome owners. Very sweet people and they make amazing coffee and snacks. Their muffins and croissants are delicious and fresh. Today in particular I asked the owner for a hot coffee but with sugar free stuff as I’m diabetic. She came through with a tasty, hot sugar free coffee that was out of this world. Definitely recommend Ara!

I’m not a fan of matcha but was recommended to try the dirty matcha latte by the owner and was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it! Took a photo of the empty cup when I remembered all the half drank matchas I have left in my life. Incredibly friendly staff and very proud of what they’re making, which is so nice to see nowadays.

I stumbled on Ara entirely by chance, and I am SO happy I did. What an absolutely delightful spot! Friendly service, delicious coffee and pastries (I had a latte and banana bread), cool jazz music, and a very warm and welcoming ambience that feels a lot like small family-owned coffee shops in South Korea and Japan. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to, to do some reading or get some work done on my laptop.

I came here after seeing so many positive reviews, but honestly, I was a little disappointed. I only ordered a cappuccino, and I didn’t really enjoy it, it just wasn’t very good, and I couldn’t even finish it. It didn’t stand out in any way.
On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, the space itself is quite small, so it doesn’t really feel like a spot where you can comfortably sit with friends and hang out.

The nicest and one of the best coffee shops in NJ! On the morning of my fathers funeral they gave me directions to store I needed to find and it helped in so many ways ! Coming back today I discovered their espresso and lattes are the best , very strong and all home grounded here ! Avoid the chains and take time to support this amazing place !
