The staff is nice and the bagels are enjoyable. The speed of service, however, is about as bad as it can get in a bagel shop, at times. They seem to have made the decision to have each employee see an order all the way through from taking the order to cooking it and finalizing it. So you could have everyone working on a cooked breakfast sandwiches and there is nobody at the counter until somebody finishes at the griddle station. I was there this morning at 7:15 AM and nobody welcomed or said anything to new customers until 7:23 AM. That's how poor the counter service can be. The gentleman behind me gave up and left and I was about to leave as well. I just wanted a single plain beggar with cream cheese and one of the other employees certainly could have done that while they were waiting for the other orders to cook. This is an inefficient process that plays itself out again and again. It would be easy for any consultant to come in and recommend having certain people specialize in certain stations/functions and keep one body at the counter taking orders (and fulfilling simple orders). See the photo of the four employees all doing a similar thing with nobody at the front counter. This went on for 7 minutes.

Cute breakfast spot with tables for seating and lots of bagel and baked good options. Service was fast and friendly and the seating atmosphere was comfortable. The blueberry bagels didn't really taste like blueberry but the texture was good and the muffins were excellent.

The place was homey and cozy. The cashier was attentive and helpful. He even helped me place my order and suggested People's favorite thing on the menu. The raisin bagel with strawberry cream cheese was warm and delicious...!! Will definitely

I ordered a Taylor ham egg and cheese on a everything bagels and the egg was over cooked I assume this New Jersey sandwich should have eggs with a runny yolk it makes it a little messy but it makes the sandwich more delicious and interesting . There are alot of workers here so the line went fast as far as the wait . they have tables to sit down, but no waitresses so it’s counter help only. they had a lot of other things to eat like pastries, muffins, yogurt, and sandwiches. they also had egg omelettes with hash brown and a choice of a bagel or toast. Next time I will try that.

Disregard all negative reviews of this place, this is the BEST bagel shop I. HAVE. EVER. BEEN. TO. I personally live in Manhattan, and grew up with Obagel (the now super famous shop, but used to be a local and thriving shop). But Bagel Surpreme is the BEST I've ever had. Time and time again it delivers. The bagels have some level of secret ingredient in it, they are JUST more flavorful than other bagels, even their plain bagel. Bagel Surpeme is the best there is. Despite what the review 2 below me says, they DO know how to run a business, they have great operations. There's never a huge line or crowd like in other shops, and they have great and unique flavors. Their bluberry is out of this world. Their everything and sesame are consistently good. The spreads actually have flavor, they're the best in the world.

The service sucks. They’ve got four to five ppl at the girl but a line out the door waiting to order. The people have the angriest looks on their face like they hate it there.

This place has an amazing assortment of bagels, wraps, and sandwiches. The prices are quite fair and the service is friendly. I would have left five stars had one of our wraps had not contained a huge, hard lettuce core. Other than that , i would return. PS.... good coffee, too!
