My server, Gail, was so kind, accommodating, and attentive, without being at all overbearing. She really improved the crappy day I’d had. I salted the mashed potatoes, but the potato-chip garnishes were charming and yummy!

I heard a merry rapport from the direction of the kitchen, which made me happy!

Food is decent. Not great, not terrible. A bit on the high side of pricing for what you get. If you're staying at the property, there's not a lot around that is close. Staff is friendly and attentive

We ordered about 4 appetizers. One of them was pizza which tasted exactly how I make it for my children in an air fryer ? Another dish was crab dip served with variety of soggy, soft and crunchy black bean chips.
The last 2 dishes, tuna and shrimp was all right. Also, ordered a Mojoto which came with vodka instead of rum. Sent it back and was served a true Mojito.
After dinner we went to Bananas for a comedy show. Ordered another Mojito and was also served with vodka! Sent it back.
Bartender needs to learn basic recipes

We made a dinner reservation because we were going to Bananas comedy club in the same hotel and thought it would be convenient. Bad mistake!!! Waitress was taking our order w/o writing anything down. I asked her to write it since we made a few requests and then she did. My wife wanted seltzer with a splash of cranberry, got it with lemonade. They put red onions in the salad when I said to leave them off. Told waitress we were sharing the salad and she gave us 2 tiny plates, the size you put a tea cup on! I had to wait until I saw her again to get normal size salad plates. Our NY strip steaks were tough and fatty. My “honey glazed” carrots were hard, barely cooked and just tasted like raw carrots. To top it off, there was an 18% service charge on the bill. No mention on the menu that they do that. It was only the two of us dining. I’ve only see that done with parties of 6 or more. When I questioned the waitress about it she said that all restaurants in NJ do that. Wrong! We eat out at least once a week and never had a restaurant put a service charge on our bill when it’s just 2 people. I think that tipping should be based on the customer’s feeling about the service. When it’s automatically 18%, there is no incentive for the wait staff to provide good service. Whatever you do, don’t eat at Finch’s restaurant! Bad food, bad service and ridiculous tipping policy.

Possibly some of the worst food I've ever eaten. The seared ahi was old and rubbery. The Margherita pizza is little more than a totinos frozen pizza. And the steak was tough, poorly prepared and lukewarm when it came out. Will avoid at all costs in the future.
