I came in around 6pm to ask about times and see the menu. I was helped by a very kind woman who provided me with a paper copy of the menu to review as I got ready for dinner. Upon arrival at dinner time, I was seated and attended. It was only one other pair in the restaurant (next to the bar) area. The place was pretty peaceful and had low music. The steak was a perfect medium well strip. It cut through like butter. I loved the texture. The mashed potatoes were so tasty and plentiful; it was topped with two baked home-made potato chips. The broccoli had minced garlic, which is not mentioned in the menu but, which transformed it from regular steamed broccoli to a tasty side. I will definitely be used that in my future recipes. I can't wait to return to this hotel and to this restaurant. I'm sure you can come have a bite even if you aren't staying at their equally as wonderful Renaissance Meadowlands Hotel.

Possibly some of the worst food I've ever eaten. The seared ahi was old and rubbery. The Margherita pizza is little more than a totinos frozen pizza. And the steak was tough, poorly prepared and lukewarm when it came out. Will avoid at all costs in the future.

Seems as you pay for everything in this area. Parking, room, water, candy bars, coffee all over priced and that goes for the food and drinks at Finch's'. It's edible but not great.

Bang-bang shrimp and steak were very good, and my waitress was attentive and efficient. As well as very pleasant.

Staying for a work trip! One of the better hotel restaurants I've been too. Got the pork chops and they were succulent and the green beans were great also. Would encourage anyone staying here to eat at Finch's. The service was fantastic and made recommendations also.

Previous visits have been great, but our latest visit was terrible. All meat for all 12 members of our party was overcooked and took nearly 2 hours to come out.

Terrible in many ways, but the top reasons include slow, inattentive service and bringing out a dish that was not even close to how it was described on the menu. My salad was fine. I did however, order a charcuterie plate to go that was described with multiple cheeses, meats and fruit along with various crackers and a fruit spread. What I received was nothing like this at all. (See photo) it was literally water crackers and two types of cheap, sliced cheese with a plastic container of jelly. Gross. My server was nowhere to be found. Management stepped away from the hotel desk to look for her and was not found, probably too embarrassed to deal with the problem. Asked for a refund and it took over an hour to coordinate with hotel manager and restaurant manager to ok it. Was told they would do it eventually and it may take a few days to credit back to my card. Ridiculous. Will they actually do it? Remains to be seen. Most hotel restaurants are not worth the time, and this one is no exception to the rule. They boast "farm to table" but it's like dollar store to table. Really sad that they will throw something together disregarding what they advertise and just hope the customer is ok with it? Don't waste your money here. They definitely don't care about the food they serve or how they serve it.

Stopped here for breakfast since I was staying in the hotel. Modern upscale atmosphere that serves breakfast and dinner. Couldn’t find a menu online at all so I will upload one in the post. I got a Sesame bagel, bacon, and apple juice. Would have opted for a latte but the machine is broken. Bacon was a little floppy for my preference.

When Robin and I got checked in at the Marriott. We went to Finch's and split a house salad and cheeseburger .It came out quickly and perfect to what we ordered..I'm a fat guy, so I think you know, that I know my cheeseburgers..Was one of the Best Cheeseburgers I have ever had..Robin commented the same way. It was so fresh and wonderfully prepared..Their salad was also very fresh and we loved their house salad dressing . I highly recommend..They even have this nice,.professionally made signs that state the local farms that deliver directly to Finch's. I believe too.

Almost don’t want to leave a review so I can keep this place all to myself. Farm to table restaurant. Food is fresh and delicious and the staff is attentive and kind. Had the blackened salmon *chefs kiss* and Italian bomba for desert. Hidden gym in the Rutherford area.

Service was good but when I stayed there back in November, they were short staffed so the waiting can be a little longer. But overall was great. Generous portions. I really enjoyed their bang bang shrimps and died calamaris.
