Our office ordered takeout for delivery today (day before Thanksgiving). All of the food was amazing including the sandwiches, pepperoni bread and meatballs. I personally tried the triple chicken parmigiana sandwich and the pepperoni bread. I highly recommend both. The feedback from the others was the same. We did have an issue with our order most likely attributable to the fact it’s the day before Thanksgiving and I can only imagine how busy they were. However, the manner in which the problem was resolved, DIRECTLY BY THE OWNER, has made me a customer for life. Amazing food and unparalleled customer service - run there for your next meal out.

Matera’s Market is hands down one of the best food spots in Bergen County. Roast beef is home made, fresh bread, fresh ingredients, excellent service, excellent atmosphere. My roast beef sub was around 16$ which is the average price in deli’s. Must try if you are in Rutherford. Matera’s is located on a popular busy town street, alot of cool places to check out, great way to spend the afternoon!

I stopped by Matera's Italian Market while visiting friends nearby, and it was such a great find! I had their M1 sandwich and grabbed a cold, spicy antipasto to take home—everything was amazing. The food was seriously on point, and the staff were super friendly. This place knows what they're doing, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area. Also, parking’s easy with enough street spots around, which is a plus!

Great sandwiches, unbeatable service and super friendly people. This is the type of place that'll bring me back to Rutherford again and I can't say enough great things about this place. Everything and everyone exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend everyone come here to experience it for yourself.
Great food, great ingredients, SUPERB people and as mentioned already, the service was UNMATCHED. Whoever is running this place knows exactly what they're doing because I felt like I was at my Italian family's home.
