I'm happy I don't live closer to this place because I would weigh 800 pounds. All the food is excellent and one of my favorite spots for a cannolli. Always greeted with a smile!
Matera’s Market is hands down one of the best food spots in Bergen County.
Roast beef is home made, fresh bread, fresh ingredients, excellent service, excellent atmosphere.
My roast beef sub was around 16$ which is the average price in deli’s. Must try if you are in Rutherford.
Matera’s is located on a popular busy town street, alot of cool places to check out, great way to spend the afternoon!

Had lunch there yesterday because I heard it was solid there and wow, the soup and sandwich combo was really good. something so simple but it left a memorable impression which prompted me to leave this review. definitely worth trying.
