We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant and will return. Only went there because we had to attend something in the area but are very happy we found this place. The staff were alway smiling and friendly and my server Itzel was top notch. Food was excellent and my margaritas were some of the best I've had and I order them everywhere! Looking forward to returning all the way from Parsippany again. Great job Paisanos! You guys proved yourself on every level.

Huge disappointment, I wanted to surprise my son (12) for his birthday dinner. I called at 515 and asked Sophie if we could stop by and sit in the front room, explaining we would be no longer than 45 mins. She accommodated, we arrive and get marched straight to the back room. She explained things happen and it was busy (as 3 tables sat empty). Oh well…

Everything here was beyond wonderful!

We ordered the Spaghetti (housemade) Carbonara (the real way - no cream), stuffed Pork Chop, and Espresso Short Ribs!

Decor was beautiful. The service was top-notch (great job Gio!)!

Run, don't walk, to Paisano's!

If you visit Paisano’s, ask for Jack. His service was so professional and prideful that I genuinely assumed he was part of the family or related to the owner.

Beyond the great food, Jack took the time to share the restaurant’s history, explaining how they successfully expanded from a small local kitchen into the staple they are today. It’s rare to find a server so invested in a business's story.

We arrived without a reservation, the manager seated us immediately, and the cocktails were good, although they took a while to arrive, so we knew we better order right away. When the appetizers arrived, I asked for the children's menu and was surprised to find that they don't have anything specifically for children. Then I asked another waiter if they could please serve grilled chicken or something for my 2-year-old son to eat. Almost 20 minutes later, when I asked where was my son's plate The waiter said the manager told him they don't serve food to kids at that restaurant. It took them 20 minutes to tell me they weren't going to serve anything to my son. At the very least, they should inform customers beforehand that they don't serve children.

I had a reservation for the restaurant saturday night at 630. I got there and they told me they are running behind. I didnt get a table until 720.

We sat down. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and Cesar salad to start. They asked if we wanted bread so we said yes. Took almost 40 minutes to get bread. They told us they were baking it still and then it came out barely warm. It was so crunchy you could barely enjoy it. When the bill came we were shocked to see we were charged for bread. I have never in my life been charged for bread and if you're going to charge for it, at least make it good.

The stuffed mushrooms were okay. The salad was okay but the dressing was way too anchovy of a taste for me.

Our meals were good. We had the salmon and scampi. Both were good. We ordered cappuccino's at the end and they tasted horrible. Sugar couldnt even fix them.

Overall, I wouldn't go back. Its disappointing because I heard such good things about this place but between the reservation being almost an hour behind, waiting 40 mins for hard bread that wasn't free, it just isnt worth it to me.

Thank you to the entire staff at Paisano's for making my son & future bride's engagement reception a total success. Special thanks to Steven as well as Julia and Freddy. The going got tough at specific times re: unexpected changes, yet Steven found solutions with the team with pure grace, empathy & professionalism. What an asset and blessing, Steven, it must be for Daniel and Justin to have you there. SUPERB service indeed. Have a Happy New Year everyone!!!! y mil gracias otra vez

The non English speaking assistant not knowing things and yelled at me when I questioned calmly and politely why my food wasn’t ready. In today’s age, nobody needs pisanos. They are overdue. Food is average. Not awesome. And don’t order for catering. Never ready on time. He made me very uncomfortable. My angry “eyes” and tone made him this unhappy where the swinging door even made a noise, not good.

I understand this is not a restaurant designed towards children but I did call and the woman on the phone said they had no children's menu but can do a kids size meal. My daughters do not have adventurous taste buds and eat pasta with butter. I get the check and they charged $22 dollars for each of their meals. Thats just disingenuous. A long time ago me and my wife considered this our favorite restaurant. I'll never eat there again
