I’ve been here a few times and everytime the employees have such an unpleasant attitude. If you ask for a bowl to not have a certain fruit in it, they do not remove it. If you ask for extra of something, they don’t add it but charge it still? Its very unfortunate :(

I ordered a coco bowl and it wasn’t prepared well. They forgot the bananas and I had to go back for them to add it. The bowl was completely melted and soupy. Staff wasn’t rude, but they weren’t very pleasant either. I didn’t even finish the bowl because it just wasn’t good. $15 wasted smh. I’ll probably try Playa again.. but def not this location.

Came in an hour in advance and paid for extra toppings, I told this one Asian girl I paid extra for the extra Nutella she gave attitude back and threw my bowl on the table like if I’m a dog. Playa bowls check on your employees cuz that’s disgusting attitude I don’t need.

Playa Bowls in Rutherford has the best known acai bowls in the world. I have ordered here countless times and the service is always quick, and food delicious. I get the Nutella acai bowl, granola on the side, and no coconut shavings. They are extremely eco friendly - no staples in bags at this location!
Received an order I needed to deliver for DoorDash, I have been waiting 15 minutes and have yet to receive the order, my customer is complaining, the store is completely backed up with only 4 employees trying their hardest to get everyone’s order done, please do better, the wait time is atrocious!!! I lose time, gas & money coming here tonight, and will have to unassign my customers order smh.
