Very inviting warm space! Kind workers, great atmosphere and delicious coffee! I got a dulce de leche iced coffee and it was some of the best coffee ive had in some time. Highly recommend you check this place out — right in the heart of Rutherford

UPDATE: I was so impressed by the delivery that I craved the sandwich the next day and brought my mom and daughter with me. We arrived at 428 pm... I asked if we could order and sit since they close at 5... they said yes but when I went to order a chicken salad toast they told me the kitchen was closed. 30 minutes before closing and u can't order food. Really sucks.
Ordered the chick n fix toast. The best chicken salad hands down!!! The toast is the perfect combination of chicken salad, microgreens and I topped mine with crumbled bacon. 1000/10!! So good. It also got delivered in perfect condition. I washed it down with a milo coffee Frappuccino and it was delicious and refreshing. My new go to spot!

I came to this place to study and had such a great experience! I ordered the mango smoothie and it was absolutely delicious ,super fresh and flavorful 😋The environment was calm, quiet, and had a really cool vibe, which made it perfect for getting work done. The staff and the manager were incredibly kind and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to! Highly recommend. 💛🥭

Stopped in after an appointment nearby for a peach iced tea and pan de queso. Both were absolutely delicious and so reasonably priced! Will stop in again next time I'm in the area.

Their iced latte is soo good. I added oatmilk and white chocolate syrup to mine. I also had their bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a crossaint. 10/10. I’m happy I found this place ☕️
The worker asked if we wanted medium or large and me and my friend both ordered a medium cup of coffee. A medium cup of coffee is not supposed to give someone heart palpitations and panic attacks. There is not supposed to be that much caffeine in a medium cup of coffee or even a large. I’ve had medium cups of coffee and larges and small and none have given me heart palpitations and none have given my friend panic attacks. 0/10 only come here if you want your heart beating out of your chest.
Visited a few weeks ago with my daughter, our hot chocolates were not hot, and the pan de quesos were more salty and cheesy rather than having a mild sweetness. The chicken empanadas were different, and good! The beef ones were ok. All in all for simple finger foods we paid over 30 dollars for just me and my daughter which I thought was pricey for what we got. :(

It’s nothing crazy. I mean every time I go, they’re already out of food or the type of drink I want. The interior is nice, but it’s not like a wow factor. Just an average cute cafe to get some work done.

Never going here again. I hate having to give a bad review to my own people but today’s service was absolutely awful. I ordered three pastries and drink for my kid and I. We were sitting for literally 15 minutes while the kid who helped me at the register just stood there tapping his fingers. I had to go up to him and ask where my food was… there was maybe two ppl sitting down working, the place was dead. The girl comes from behind the counter and hands me a bag. I’m like what? It was there the whole time? You see me and my kid sitting there and you don’t tell me my stuff is ready? You can tell they have no interest in being there.
Food wise, the empanada is ridiculously over priced (costs 3x more than the next town over) and their pan de yuca was disgusting. Over salty and had a weird metallic taste.
The pan de bono was average.
The service is what will keep me away though.

I always go to this place because I used to live in Rutherford. But now, under a new ownership, I felt so uncomfortable being inside. My friend and I had a drink with us from outside and she bought an empanada in this place and we sat in the back and the owner just started telling us that we are not allowed to sit inside because we have “outside food”. Mind you it was 30 degrees outside and extremely cold. Never coming here again!

I can't imagine starting my morning without a visit to Rutherford Coffee Company—it would feel like a crime! Their coffee always hits the spot, especially the cold brew, which is my go-to drink to kick off the day. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, always greeting customers with a smile. The shop has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that exudes a Brooklyn vibe, making it a fantastic place to work, whether for business or school. 10/10
