I'll begin by saying the only reason service and atmosphere are not ranked 5 is because for one the place is usually so busy that it takes a while to either wait to get in or get things going; secondly is that, for the same reason, if you are not a fan of crowded places it may not be for you. It is still spacious enough to be comfortably seated however.
This place is for breakfast, that being for solid tasting, hearty breakfast plates. From the pancakes to the omelettes, everything is very filling and balanced. You can custom or add to the orders as well without issue, although of course it may have an extra cost for additions. The coffee tastes great and you can get refills, and in the fitting season they have freshly squeezed orange juice available.
I have occasionally popped back in over the years, and the quality has remained solid. Absolutely recommended.

I think this is my first time ever feeling so slighted that I had to make time to leave a review. If I didn’t have somewhere to be, the lying about timing would not have been an issue. We found this place on IG and the pancakes looked great(I love pancakes) so we went to try them. We arrive to the restaurant at about 11:15a on this lovely Sunday. And as expected it’s a full house which is ok because remember the pancakes looked great. We ask to be seated and are promised a 15 minute waiting time, understandably. We sat in our car for about 5 minutes before we called to cancel seating and just order take out. We then were told it would be about 10 minutes for our food to be finished and they’ll call us. After waiting exactly 24 minutes we called for an update and was then told about 5 more minutes. Ok, I’m hungry and she’s hungry so 5 minutes felt like 5 minutes. However after 11 minutes and no call, she went inside because I would rather not engage… Much to my surprise, upon return my baby girl is empty handed and visibly disappointed. She told me that she couldn’t get anyone’s attention at all so she left. So now I’m leaving a review from another restaurant about how all of this could have been avoided had the host practiced honesty instead of careless capitalism.

While the food was generally good, the overall experience fell short of expectations.
The menu needs significant improvement. The presentation lacks creativity, and there aren’t enough options to choose from. Most items are basic, requiring you to order additional sides to complete your meal. This quickly adds up, making the final bill a little more than expected for a regular breakfast.
If they expanded the menu and offered more complete meal combinations, it could enhance the dining experience and provide better value for the customer.

We found this quaint diner while traveling through the area. The restaurant offers a nice assortment of breakfast items. Steve and Andrea's has a small indoor dining area and some outdoor tables along the tree lined street. Despite our young son being a picky eater, he remarked that the chocolate chip pancakes were the best ever. Everything we had was delicious. The portions are generous, too.
Give this place a try!
Parking: Street parking, and a small lot to the left of restaurant that wraps around back.
Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is a casual diner, with high chairs available.

1. We came because a few instagram and tik tok videos reviewed the amazing pancakes. We love pancakes. These were not amazing. They were ok, lacked flavor, and the outer parts were burnt.
2. The specials menu had quiche Lorraine which we also love! It was sooo dry and clearly microwaved to warm it up. Hard cheese on top.
3. The waiter Pablo who took our order was kind and friendly, then after we ate, a female basically threw the check at our table and said “thank you for coming” - no one asked if we wanted anything else, or if we wanted more coffee, it seemed like they were ready to get rid of us. I always wonder if it’s because we are not white. It wasn’t that busy. We just moved to town and this was one of the first bad experiences (except the good coffee and Pablo who actually smiled and told us to sit and take our time once he noticed we were leaving). Thankyou Pablo!

We have been eating here for more than three years; with that said, we had our worst experience today. We asked to eat outside and immediately waited 15 minutes before getting up and actively asking for a menu. 15 minutes later we placed our drink order. By the time we got our food order in and started eating I found a hair in my pancakes. We stopped eating at that point and had to wait 25 minutes to get fully checked out. I’m disappointed and will probably be taking a break from this place. This was one of our favorite spots to eat.

Food is ok but very small portions for the price you pay.For example a "bowl" of soup is 7 bucks and it's actually the size of a cup of soup, the amount doesn't even fill a small bowl.Typical overrated NJ place.
Local favorite for brunch and lunch. Love their specials especially their soups that are always changing every few days. Everyone there is very attentive and nice. There homemade chips and hash are staples every time for us.
