Honestly, this place is great. I've been ordering cakes consistently for both of my daughter's birthday's for the past few years. There have been times when I have given them just a general idea for a theme and the product I've received has always blown me away- it's always way more than I could have ever imagined. I've placed yet another order for my daughter's birthday cake and I can't wait to see their vision come to life! They are always quick to respond to any inquiries and I love that they can accommodate my children's dietary restrictions. Amazing place, highly highly reccommend.

I ordered a 6 inch cake for my son's first birthday - he has a dairy/soy allergy so I was really happy to find a place that offered options. But also the cake was DELICIOUS. I don't know how you make a cake without dairy to taste that good and it wasn't dry or anything. 10/10 amazing

How to start WOW I had this cake for breakfast lunch and dinner the most delicious cake ,cupcakes , and truffles I wouldn’t of found out about them through my grandson allergy to milk and my son in law gluten free but I am soo thankful I did the only bad thing it’s far from where I live but then it’s for my good because I would be in that bakery literally everyday that’s how much I Love their bake goods especially their cakes they are amazing and oh my the butter cream I can eat that alone just delicious 😋 . My daughters birthday was coming up so I order a vintage cake I gave them a picture of what I wanted it to look like my gosh they did it exactly and it was just Beautiful everyone was in aww it was so Lovely too pretty to cut but we did it was just delicious like always Thank you ladies for the awesome job you guys do not only do you guys make delicious outstanding bake goods but also the art of decorating them too.

We've ordered my daughter's birthday cake twice from Sweet Avenue Bake Shop. We spend Christmas at my father in law's house every other year, and my daughter's bday is Christmas Eve. I found them on Instagram several years ago, and ordered a Corpse Bride cake that blew our whole family away, instantly making Sweet Ave a tradition for us. Two years ago, they did my daughter's Wednesday Addams cake impressed us once again. My daughter is already brainstorming this year's cake and excited to see what Sweet Shop can do again. Excellent decorating skills. Delicious cakes from a full family of non vegans who couldn't tell the difference. Easy peasy online ordering process and fantastic communication. No matter the time of year, if we're in NJ and one of our family members has a birthday, this is our go to bakery. Be sure to give at least two weeks notice before the date you need your cake.
