First time ordering here. Had no clue they were even in town. Ordering their takeout should have come with some instructions. The container they provided appeared to be veggies and chicken, and the other container was the broth. I dumped the container into the bowl and unbeknownst to me... it spilled everywhere. There was a secondary broth bowl on the bottom that just flew out. Poor design and execution. Sorry guys but never again. For $29 do better. Edit: attempted to try the Ramen oddly enough I thought I was picking apart something from a sci-fi movie. The Ramen noodles was a hard, pancake style, dense scary looking thing I ordered double everything double vegetables, double meat and double broth and there was three pieces of chicken and hardly any vegetables. I frequent BOP and sushi for half the price you get twice the food. I'm not sure if this is some kind of joke or something, but this is horrible and needs to be evaluated, fixed if they want to remain in business.

Westwood NJ needs a solid ramen place, and I think this is it. Currently a pop up in town, it boasts a pretty sweet menu. My wife had the pork tonkotsu ramen, and I had the chicken sinigang ramen! Nice Filipino flare in the menu. Prices are reasonable for the area. Definitely a place I recommend checking out!

This is ramen place. No not the other place you thought was your ramen place. Here. Casey is your owner, host, and chef. I don’t know where people, maybe TikTok, got this idea ramen is suppose to be fancy and full with other flavors and textures that take away from the ramen. It’s not. Stop listen to those people. Let Casey remind you of what ramen, like those from ramen-ya, is suppose to be. His Tonkotsu is literally a perfect warm comforting hug. His pork dumpling is perfect. Seared bottom, semi crunchy top, soft in the center.
As a Korean I mean this with every fiber of my heritage, simple amazing flavor is a ramen that is a lot harder to perfect because you can hide behind other things thrown in. At 47yo I am not sure if Casey has a perfect ramen but I can say this, it’s ruined me. We have two good places back home that just dropped down to below college noodle cup in the microwave because of Casey. I envy any of you that can just drop in and have a bowl, like Sam. Envy and jealous but it’s ok because when we come back around the area, where to have dinner is a no brainer. Any night I am in the area, easy pick. Thank you Casey and this family will see you again. Salamat!

This place serves the best soups I’ve ever had in my entire life ! The pork noodle soup is so good that I had to call the owner just to tell him how impressed I was about his soup ! This is now my favorite soup spot in the whole state , I swear you won’t regret it if you buy food there

Update: Thursday $10 dollar dumpling special is definitely worth it! Was confused cause there seemed to be no sauce cup but it was just all at the bottom of the same container, and each dumpling was very flavored & drenched as is. Definitely getting again! Perfectly crispy too.

We absolutely LOVED the new sandos while they lasted, portions were HUGE. One Sando prolly feeds two people lol but both of us can't handle much bread.

Ramen portions are small for the price! but we're definitely ordering again, again, and again! THE NOODLES ARE PREEM, the best there is. broth is so rich, everything tastes EXTREMELY good

Parking: Do not park in the lot nearby, it belongs to one specific restaurant that doesn't want other customers. Sucks I know, cause it's always empty too. Park on the street & walk

My sister and I caved and got into the ramen craze a decade ago. I had too many that I swore off of having ramen again. I found ramen n the past to be too salty and rich for my liking. I have a huge family and have one brother that only eats chicken ramen. We live in Kearny and he would always say he wished there was a ramen place in town. This place is the closest to us. When I first tried the chicken ramen I was surprised how savory and meaty it tasted. I love it! My brother enjoys it too but his one critique is that the noodles were too thin for his liking. I hope this year there’s an option to dine in because we enjoy the ramen and it’s nice to enjoy a hot bowl outside the house. Kearny needs a ramen place….

Hold onto your chopsticks, folks! KC's spicy miso ramen in NJ isn't just a meal – it's a flavor party where your taste buds learn Japanese. The broth is so rich it should come with its own bank account, and the spice level hits just right. Each slurp (and you WILL slurp) feels like you're performing a duet with your dinner.
Found myself unconsciously bowing to my empty bowl and muttering "arigatou gozaimasu." Don't judge – once you try this ramen, you'll be speaking Japanese too. Sorry, instant noodles, but we need to break up. I'm officially hooked and there's no turning back.
