Their pizzas are delicious. Usually when I get to the crust, I move on to the next pizza or stop eating. Their crust is the best crust I've had.

Yesterday was my first experience at this Pizzeria and it was fantastic! I walked in and was greeting politely. I got the Baked Ziti pizza and the staff were really excited about it. One really awesome worker handed it to me and asked me to check it out before I left. I opened it and it looked amazing and we struck up a great conversation! They love their food and when I got home, I loved it too! The dough was one of the best I have ever had and the sauce/cheese was incredible. Overall an excellent pizza for my taste and I cannot wait to try more pastas/sauces! Glad I woke nearby because I know I’ll be here during lunch many times!

The girl who answers the phone not only doesn't know the menu, she doesn't understand basic math. And, despite us living only 1 mile away, as soon as we say Plainfield, they give us a hard time about delivering to us, even though they previously have. My bf asked the manager if it mattered that we are white & he suddenly changed his mind & sent his delivery guy. Unbelievable!

Quarantine season... closed 8:30 sunday may... got the usual garlic knots + a pie - food was on point - bit cashiers attitude needed adjustment. Will I return - yes but will send a friend to buy the stuff...
Alfonso's Pizzeria is located along the busy Park Avenue. There is street parking and a municipal lot very close by. The inside of the restaurant is clean and well-kept. The staff was friendly and inviting. I decided to go with a Margherita and a Brooklyn square. The square featured good cheese with a delicious sauce and a nice, fluffy base. The Margarita had a slightly thicker base that is crisp on the bottom, but fluffy throughout. It also had a great sauce and good quality mozzarella cheese. The crust was crispy-crunchy. Good pizza, I was very satisfied.

I celebrated my PhD this evening in this gorgeous place. happy to tell that it was a delightful evening and the restaurant was absolutely the reason for the successful event. The waiters cooperated in a lovely way, the meals were yummy and my guests were so pleased. We shall absolutely return for more joyful events. thanks very much.

Angelo is a wonderful guy, I've known him since I was a teenage kid and his dad team the pizzeria. We got slices and played Zaxxon in the old shop. He moved down Park Ave. and makes some of the best pizza in New Jersey. Highly recommend....
