Went here tonight. Had a wonderful experience. Friendly staff, pretty good food, A+ drinks and ambience. Had the tuna tartare- think they can sauce up a little bit and hit with a " vehicle" ( tostada, etc), but overall, fine!! And surprisingly fresh for the area. Grilled Caesar- fantastic. Croquettes ( jamon) more my husbands thing but the sauce was good and I totally enjoyed ! Staff is sweet and super excited to have you. Ambiance is gorgeous. And honestly- food, room for improvement but definitely a major highlight of the area.
For those of you submitting bad reviews, shame on you. I have to take a guess and say 1.) you think you have taste because you lived in Murray Hill for a couple years, did a stint and Hoboken then made your way to the suburbs of Jersey. News flash, it's northern Jersey. You should be appreciative this place is putting an effort in to offer a more elegant experience than the harvest restaurants and chipotle around town. These people are trying, and we should be encouraging this type of development in our town as much as possible. OR 2.) you're so violently upset by the costing of tapas that you blow their whole rating on that, you aren't the target audience.
Congratulations to this team for working with what you got, elevating the suburban experience, bringing friendly, attentive service, good food, and giving us back a little local zest in " going out for dinner" . Will keep coming back!

So positives are decor amazing! Staff super friendly very attentive!
Menu is not bad at all both food and drink buttttt the portions are insanely small for the pricing.
4 apps 4 drinks bill was over $200 I wouldn’t complain but the dishes are really that small even smaller then other “tapa” restaurants
I hope they make it I’m unsure if they will Thursday night not one table till after 746 had two come in
Maybe more advertising and a few extra pieces of food per plate ?

The place looks great and it is upscale. The chairs have a low back and are not comfortable but the booth seats are fine. There is a scent that is piped in throughout the restaurant that distracts from the aroma of the food. The drinks were nice and had a good amount of alcohol. The staff was very pleasant but since we were there early we overheard conversation that should be kept to the back of the house. Btw if you think I'm being over critical...I am because when you pay $100 per person you expect more. The octopus was good and worth ordering. The dates wrapped in bacon were ok but a bit dry though it did have a nice sauce. The pissas (flatbread) was good and tasty. The 8oz steak was ok. It was room temperature and not melt in your mouth. The half chicken was our favorite. Definitely worth the price and it was a good size portion. Overall we liked the food and service. Not sure how often we would go back since it is expensive even for the area.

Visited for the first time. Great vibe great service. The tapas were small for the price but they were good. We were disappointed in the steak. The presentation was excellent but the steak was not warm and almost felt that it was cooked in an electric oven. For $125 that steak should be perfect! Also $12 for three slices of bread is ludicrous. Guys, you can have something special here but please…. Take care of your quality with those prices.

Anniversary dinner two people at the bar on a Saturday night at 7 PM. Donovin and Melody and one bar back that was cleaning a lot of glasses the place wasn’t that busy. We ordered finally a beer and a club soda with cranberry. 10 minutes later I got my beer ..20 minutes later my wife got her club soda, cause I had a reminder the bartender Donovin. Sloppy sloppy service. All all over the place. Steak tartar Was good. The octopus is good but when we order the main course it took forever ..I ordered the $42 steak. My wife ordered the seafood combo blah blah blah. That was about 45 bucks with scallops. I work in New York City and go out with clients all the time.. If you wanna charge these prices, get your freaking act together because you have the hostesses bringing out appetizers and main courses to the tables . These people are trying too hard. The steak was warm. The state came with shoestring potato chips and pickled onion. My wife’s dinner was warm and it definitely wasn’t fresh seafood Over cold rice noodles, I guess ? good luck to Bernadette. You’ll make your money on the overpriced food and the bar for sure. The old-fashioned I finished with for $22 was more than the tip I gave Melody who Was a train wreck. I hope you have a short lease.

My husband and I had a great time here!
As everyone has mentioned, the interior design is just stunning and thoughtful. We ended up sitting at the bar and it never felt uncomfortable - the curvature of the bar and wide seats makes it feels like you have a table to yourself. Well done.
The tapas are great - we ordered the heirloom tomato salad, which I initially thought had *too* much going on, but I loved getting a new herb in every bite. The sourdough bread is accompanied by three different toppings (the tomato confit was my favorite), and the corn croquette was perfectly crisp.
We ordered the rib-eye, which was probably the most underwhelming dish - a bit overcooked and slightly cold - but it was seasoned well, which kept us going back for more.
I felt service was a bit slow, which is fair given there are two bartenders and a full bar, but overall, fine. I’m a bit used to having my water refilled for me anytime my glass is around 1/4 full, so I was expecting that level of service given the decor, but can’t fault them for not meeting those expectations. I genuinely can’t wait to come back and super excited I have a gorgeous restaurant to have girls’ and date nights!

Beautiful decor, the food was delicious but completely disappointing portion sizes that should not be billed as shareable plates. The cheese plate was 3 small SLICES of cheese with some peanuts. Like some of the other comments, we had to go out to eat after spending $220 for 3 people. The drinks were mediocre and they kept asking if we wanted to go to our table every 5 min, 30 min before our reservation. There was no one there.

Gem in NJ suburbs with great food, friendly staff and amazing atmosphere. Heres what to expect-
Small space, very intimate.
Drinks are great, for those who are complaining, you ordered a wrong drink
Tapas style- if you don’t know what this is, GOOGLE IT.
Food is delicious, end of the story
Price is reasonable
I’ve seen some low ratings and I would ignore all of it. I can tell some of these reviewers have no idea what they are talking about. They keep saying ‘tries to be like nyc restaurant…’ what is that even mean??? I’ve dined at countless amount of spots in the city- hole in the wall joints to Michelin star rated. If anyone says the above, only nyc spot they’ve been to is Catch, and food sucks there. (Used to be good)
Try this place, it’s a new hot spot and you’ll love it.
