Charlie Brown's Fresh Grill

My son and best friend spent Thanksgiving at this wonderful place and were delighted as the menu choices and service were exceptional ! Our wait staff was phenomenal and we couldn't have asked for more delicious prepared prime rib and Thanksgiving treats. Thank you for this cozy and perfect experience for our holiday.

So this was a terrible experience from beginning to end, first of all the hostess was not very pleasant (She had very long hair but I didn’t get her name)we had a very young waiter who took our order, when he brought out the drinks he had no idea who’s drink was who’s ( no big deal) but than he reached over the table to hand my wife a beer and spilled it all over my brother in-law and didn’t apologize or replace the beer. I had the short rib it was ok but the mashed potatoes were ice cold. My father in-law had the Ny strip steak and said it was very tough. Now the real problem my wife had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken and said it was ok but tasted a little off, she thought it was the cheese crust, and within an hour of leaving there complained she was feeling nauseous, and began vomiting uncontrollably about 30 minutes later. Do yourself a favor and don’t eat here

Enjoyed the original Charlie Browns steakhouse in Highland Park for many years then Dunellen after they closed. always a great meal, ambiance and great service. Member of the handshake club. Always went on birthdays and special occasions. After they closed tried the Piscataway Fresh Grill location and was very disappointed. Obvious new owners were trying to use the name but save on expenses. poor service and low quality food. Expect that this company will not survive.

The bartender there is the greatest. Go there on Saturday with my son sit at the bar. She knows what we like to order tells us what's good. I totally recommend sitting at the bar and having the pleasure of her service!

This shopping trip to BJs was terrible. The lines for both self and regular checkout were halfway down the length of the store. There were only two manned registers open. This is another example of big business cutting personnel at the expense of the consumer. They just opened two more registers.

Chicharrones made of small balls, chicken wings, Curi, you can see them in cuado beef soup.

Went there to celebrate a family member's birthday. Had to have the prime rib since that was what they were known for way back when. Unfortunately, it's not the same great taste but acceptable. It was overcooked and a bit on the dry side. The appetizers were great. The wife and son enjoyed their meals, so we may revisit.

Listen, it's not the Smith and Wolinsky, but it's not supposed to be, and you know what it's easy, clean, and there's good food for a fair price... I like it
