Being from NYC and Italian, I have to be honest I dont eat Italian food out often. We have pretty high standards. Angelicas was amazing. Food is fresh and delicious. Get the octopus appetizer! Every dish was unique. This is very high on our list! The vibe is very friendly and you feel like everyone knows each other. Its BYOB but there is a liquor store right next door. Recently went out to dinner at this fine BYOB restaurant. Reservation are difficult on short notice so plan accordingly. It may be under new ownership because the few times I dined here in the past there was an extensive menu. While I feel the menu was limited( no veal dishes and little fish offerings for a shore restaurant) what was offered was something for everyone! The octopus appetizer was outstanding!
Although a bit pricey it is worth a visit to decide for yourself....
