It was our first time back to Woodys after the change in ownership and we thought the food was fantastic. We both ordered fish and it was very fresh. The options on how we could have it prepared is something I love - options are awesome. We had our swordfish and halibut blackened. Our sides were the cajun corn and bacon kale - amazing! Ally was our server, an absolute pleasure and a familiar face to see again as a local. Highly recommend and will be back often.
Great spot right at seabrights beach entrance. Was such a joy to eat here. The hostess was a sweetheart, helping me out with questions concerning parking and the server was amazing, giving us great service and advice with our drink and food order. Her recommendation of the fish of the day was excellent, with a delicious golden tile fish that she was able to explain by comparing to similar fish. Despite living nowhere near there, i will try to visit during our yearly beach outings....
First time back at Woodys since under new ownership. Always loved this place and frequented it often. Same attractive space and attentive staff but more limited menu executed poorly left us feeling wistful for the “old Woodys.” Food (which were burgers) was not good or cooked as ordered. We did not return it to the kitchen choosing not to eat what we had ordered. Waitstaff noticed this and credited the meal, which was appreciated, but will not be back. Very sad
