Been here twice. Food was consistent both times....and everything you want real bbq food to be. Flavorful, fresh, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and helpful. Ordering was a cinch. And I'm now addicted to their bbq sauce which I'm ok with. Can't wait to be back.

The pulled pork sandwich and pulled chicken sandwich were both delicious. They packed a barbecue sauce the was a perfect fit. I wish I knew what kind. I also ordered the green beans. They were perfect with a light sauce. I smoke my own meats and I'm used to quality. It's nice to have a no work option with such high quality.

Long time fan of Local Smoke here. The Sea Girt location is top class. Food was amazing, service was friendly and the place was spotlessly clean. Collard greens had been spot on!

Great place for ribs! If anyone in your group is gluten free, this is a great choice. I have Celiac Disease and have eaten here over a dozen times! The ribs are moist, have great flavor and the service and serving staff are top notch! There are lots of sides that are yummy, also GF sides. 5 stars!

Local Smoke BBQ in Sea Girt, NJ, seriously impressed us. The Half Chicken was ridiculously tasty, full of flavors that hit the spot. Now, the Ribs - I'm not exaggerating; they're the best I've ever had. Juicy, saucy perfection. And that Brisket? Pure yum - smoky and rich. The sides were on point too, especially the Mac and Cheese - creamy and cheesy goodness. Oh, and those fries? They're like a flashback to those crispy McDonald's fries we all love. Honestly, Local Smoke BBQ is just damn good. No fancy words needed; it's the kind of place where you leave happy and full. Can't wait to go back for another round of BBQ goodness.

2 stars.. sorry. So, let's begin with the pros. I ordered a brisket platter with additional sides. The baked beans and Brussel sprouts were excellent. The collard greens were OK, not the best or worst I've ever had. Same for the cornbread, it's OK, but just. If it were cooked in a cast iron skillet, had some crust it would be very good. As is, it's your normal jiffy corn bread mix.Cons.... the Mac and cheese? Not good. Bland, and the cheese sauce was clumpy and grainy. It all stuck together, and as soon as you chewed. Grainy. The biggest CON... I ordered Brisket. I asked for the sauce on the side. However, I was puzzled when I opened the container. It was shredded.... I asked for brisket, not pulled beef. And it was mixed with bbq sauce. I guess that's maybe just how they do it. But when I think brisket, I think sliced beef brisket. The only reason to shred it and mix it in bbq sauce is because the cook on the meat is poor. Which it was. It's just bad.Fully let down. MEH

Been to a couple of smokehouses and this was by far the best food / experience I've had. Tried the Ribs/ brisket and they both exceeded expectations, the fat on the Ribs was rendered down properly and tasted great. The brisket was excellent and very tender. Staff is also very friendly and helpful and prices are very fair. 10/10 would recommend!

Good all beef Berks hotdogs, they also make a very good chili, that rivals my favorite chili served at Johnny's Prince's Famous Bayway Diner in Linden. The owner and is whole crew are extremely nice, and I plan to make another trip to try out there bar bq which really looks amazing

Tasty food, causal vibe, quick experience for those on the go/strapped for time. Get the platter for a filling meal.Skip the ribs: dry and barely any meat on them. Brisket was tasty, recommend. Coleslaw was light and delicious. Definitely get this. Sweet potato fries were on the bland side: add some seasoning. Onion rings were okay, nothing to write home about. Sweet chilly Brussels sprouts were too heavily drenched in sauce, not otherwise, delicious. Cornbread can serve as your dessert: so sweet and soft, just like cake.

Ordered catering for about 20 people. Food was a huge hit. Pulled chicken / brisket. Very easy order and pickup - much easier than cooking at home. Will definitely use again in the future. Highly recommend!

Texas brisket sandwich sliced. Stale roll brisket beyond dry. Like over cooked lean roast beef. Mac and cheese nothing spectacular. Smoked Bacon poppers little salt bombs not a great experience.
