Just had lunch here with our family and grandkids. Pizza was fresh and absolutely delicious! Tried 4-5 different varieties of pizza and they were all awesome. Crispy, thin crust made in a brick oven. Service was excellent as well. Owner was extremely accommodating and made reservations for us ahead of time. Make it a point to enjoy the food here. You won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended and will return again!!

Waited two hours to get food after we ordered. Was told by manager, the food will get here when it gets here. Food was mediocre for the price and the wait. Wait staff was trying really hard and deserve a raise.

We arrived tired, hungry, and, admittedly, a bit cranky after sightseeing. Our waitress, Raime, was very pleasant and efficient. We explained that we’d lost time wandering and were anxious about arriving to the theatre for a matinee. Raine helped make that happen in this beautiful, classic pub. We all enjoyed our lunch.

Great service and the food was amazing! We ordered salad and pizza. Salad was fresh and cold - perfect! We also ordered a wheat shrimp pizza. It was thin, crisp, and so tasty. We will be back!

Second time dining at The Coal House. It's 40 minute drive for me and after today, I won't be back nor can I recommend it on my Pizzeria community group sites.
Waited about 1 hour(seated a few minutes past 6PM, pizza came out 7:08PM) for a Vodka pizza pie in a place that specializes is Pizza. Preparing and turning out a pizza pie in a coal or wood fired oven should take less than 6 minutes per order. I dont care how many people are dining in or taking out. To make your customers wait an hour for a pizza is just insane.
On top of it, they dont have a liquor license and their non alcoholic beverages are lackiing to say the least so I was stuck drinking water. Never once did the manager / owner whatever he is come over to check on us after sitting there with only glasses of water in front of us. No class at all. As long as I waited, it should have been half price if not free.
Now for the quality and taste. It did go down a bit from my first visit. The vodka sauce was watery and the cheese was extremely full of oil. The crustl did not have that crisp we all love. Instead the majority of the crust was soggy.
If your local, then great maybe this meets your needs but it is not any better than any 4.0 or above rated Pizzeria. There are few others in this immediate area that I won't mention by name that are better and can handle their customer volume on a Saturday at 6PM.

i got pickup , i want to give 5 stars , but unfortunately i ordered a Nutella pizza with only strawberries and powder sugar no bananas, since i cant have bananas, the lack of strawberries was very annoying making the pizza so plain , i ordered without bananas since im allergic so having quality sacrificed just because i cant have bananas was not cool
