Over priced SLOP. Went to dock mikes this morning. Never again!!! The waiter was clearly untrained and didn’t know what he was talking about at some points. I ordered the golden waffle, and it was not golden it was burnt around the edges and it was very, very dry. There was a short black curly hair on my rye bread, toast, and no one in my party, including myself has black hair. Bad experience overall never coming back.

Came here for pancake breakfast. One waitress for the whole place waited forever for coffee ordered pancake platter and eggs platter with turkey bacon. I got the eggs platter turkey bacon was bad rotten the potatoes were cooked in old sausage grease I think it was inedible and I sent it back. The pancake platter was just subpar my husband ate some of it because he was starving. Now the price was crazy for what you got . My bill for coffee hot tea pancake platter was $28 and of course I had my meal taken off. Don't go it was gross nothing good about it the environment wasn't nice and the wait staff was over worked the food was gross and over priced. Our waitress was very nice I would recommend her just not here !!

Food for a group of five was served at three different times a half hour apart. Everyone’s food was cold. Omelettes were cold with uncooked vegetables in them. The waitress was trying but it seemed that she had no back up. We had to ask for silverware and coffee refills. It took a while to get anything. Payed $150 for terrible food.

Nice location in a tourist town. This place is exactly that. Geared towards the tourist as they left us wanting more… not so much for the taste but for the limited portions on the plate.
Also made the mistake of ordering a refill on a cup of iced tea (unsweetened) which added another $3.75 to the bill.
Up charges for just about anything. I was asked if I wanted to upcharge for real maple syrup. Which I denied.
$60.00 for breakfast for 2 after tip.
The blueberry pancakes with bacon were good. I wouldn’t say fantastic but at least on par with Denny’s. It came with a shot class sized syrup. I asked for another and surprisingly was not upcharged for it.
The ham and cheese omelet was $14.50 but came with no potatoes and burnt dry toast which we were given a creamer sized frozen butter to spread on it.
Not a mom and pop’s type of place that stays open due to repeat customers. Im sure there are some repeats who know the system and come since other breakfast joints are in short supply in the area.
Doubt I will return even though we frequent the area quite often.

I made the mistake of going to Mikes and ordered scrambled eggs. They looked off - not properly scrambled - and they tasted of old fish oil. One bite- returned the food. I just assumed they would be able to make something edible. The sourdough toast and coffee were fine. The waiter was really nice. Hit or miss would be over-selling this place.

We were here in the off-season so getting a seat was easy but I bet it's tough in the summertime because this place is awesome! A great variety of breakfast items and everything was served with a smile! Of course we had some of their world famous pancakes!

Food was OK. Service was not. Waitress never came back for refills. We had nothing to drink half way through our meal Since it wasn't busy and it was October we thought the service would be better. Too many options down the shore that we won't go back. How can ANY restaurant this day and age not accept Credit Cards.

One of the worst restaurant experiences we have ever had. First they told us to go wait outside in the pouring rain when we were the only ones waiting for a table. Then only half of our food was brought out and we told the staff who brought it out and he just said okay and left. Leaving our child without the breakfast he wanted. Our waiter never once came out and checked on us. After over 20 minutes of trying to talk to multiple staff and even the owner they didn’t care. They tried to make some excuse that it was the kitchens fault but they still never brought out the rest of our food. Then as we were leaving they tried to bring out the food and tried to make us pay for it. Absolutely never recommend that shithole of a place.
