Order on line, a joke. We ordered two donuts on line so we would'nt have to wait. Cold, ugly day so we got a text, order ready, 15 minutes ahead of time. Ok ran down to get warm donuts, noooo had to wait 15 minutes behind alot of customers. Results, cold donuts and s automatic??tip. Why call ahead???

If you’re anywhere near Sea Isle City, the Fractured Prune is an absolute must-visit! This place is donut heaven. They truly have a flavor for everyone. From fruity glazes to decadent chocolate, crunchy toppings, and everything in between, their menu is a dream for donut lovers. You can pick from their amazing signature creations or build your own, which makes it even more fun.

I had their Boston cream donut and I can confidently say it was the best I’ve ever had. The dough was warm and perfectly soft, the cream filling was rich and velvety without being too heavy, and the chocolate topping was smooth and just the right sweetness. Every bite was pure perfection.

The donuts are made fresh right in front of you, the smell is irresistible, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. If you’re in Sea Isle City, do yourself a favor and stop at the Fractured Prune. You’ll be hooked from the first bite!

The kids running the store were so nice to us first timers. We had the BEST iced latte, and the donuts were unbelievable!! They were so moist and DELICIOUS!! I can't wait to visit again!

We’re in Sea Isle City for two weeks and my 13 year old had an idea to do a donate taste test with our family (including extended family). Yesterday (7/5/25) we picked up 2 cinnamon Sugar and 2 iced donuts with sprinkles from 5 Sea Isle donut shops/bakeries: Shorebreak, Mallons, Maryanne’s, Duck Donuts and Fractured Prune. We decided against adding Acme and Blitz’ donuts. Donuts were cut into smaller pieces so up to 12 could participate. My 13-year old I and organized it so we did not count our votes.

It was a simple ballot. I expected Maryanne’s to take it because I love real bakery donuts. And their vanilla cream donut is out of this world. We couldn’t taste test that because not all shops have that donut. (Instead, everyone who did the taste test got a small of a piece of a Maryanne’s vanilla cream donut as a bonus.)

But… This review is about the Fractured Prune handily taking the 11-person taste test. Check out the cinnamon sugar tally: it wasn’t even close, and they cruised to a frosted victory, too. Those had vanilla icing with sprinkles

I've had friends say you have to stop at the Fractured Prune in Sea Isle. It will be a highlight of your vacation. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was delicious. I especially loved the creative twists on classic donuts. The best part is you may make your own delectable donut. Their customer service was outstanding. Since all donuts are made to order customers didn't seem to mind the wait, In fact, customers seem to enjoy the experience. I heard conversations talking about which donut they were going to try and which one they would try the next time. So the next time you are in Sea Isle, stop by the Fractured Prune and make your own tasty donut.

Really disappointed in our experience. Show up at 9:55am and ordered. We were number 45. Patiently waited over 30 minutes for our half dozen order. All while other customer who ordered well after us were being served. After 35 minutes creeped up, we went up and asked for a timeframe. The register woman never apologized when she was shocked to hear we’ve been waiting so long. She did initially say we can have a refund and still have our donuts. A worker who noticeably forgot our order and rushed to get on it when he saw us complaining said “working on 45 right now” the front desk woman quickly retracted her initial offer and said refund or wait for the donuts? We happily took the refund and will never return due to very poor customer service, lack of any sense of urgency and lack of compassion all around.

Great family owned shop. We love their donuts, always fresh made to order. We love trying all the flavors but always come back to the OC sand! Their breakfast wraps and sandwiches are also a hit!

Probably the best donut I’ve ever had. We aren’t locals and took a little extra time with the menu and the person taking our order couldn’t have been sweeter! She really helped us out. Must try the blueberry streusel donut. Tastes like heaven! Cold brew is delicious too and so many flavors to choose from.

They have many flavors of donuts that you could ever imagine. Every time I come down to Sea Isle I can’t wait to get the dozen donuts. They are something to look forward to every year. Another great item on their menu is the iced coffee. Very refreshing in the early morning hours.

Cool donut shop. Donuts are kind of expensive. The staff was great. There is some outside seating. Like most places in Sea Isle, you can pay to park or get lucky and find a spot.
