Phil's Famous Pizzeria Reviews
Very good pizza! We had it today on vacation from Central PA & it had wonderful friendly staff, fast service, and the sauce was just a tad sweet which is perfect just the way I like it, crust was crispy the whole way through, well done, worth the stop! The French fries were very good too! very clean oil and crunchy!
The ordering system is flawed. In a restaurant setting every place l've been to you pay afterwards. Not a huge issue but not ideal. The main concern is the staff/new owners. The waitress was "playing" on her cell phone in clear view of patrons the entire time. When she came to the table to see if there was anything we needed, she told us we would have to go up to the counter to get it. Which made no sense.
We asked for drink refills due to our meal taking more time than expected...read full review

Phil's Famous Pizzeria is a popular spot for delicious pizza and other tasty dishes. Their pizza is highly praised, with a perfect balance of cheese and sauce. The restaurant also offers a variety of other options, such as buffalo chicken fingers. The atmosphere is comfortable, with a cozy front deck and friendly service. Many customers enjoy the friendly staff, fast service, and well-done, crispy crust. The sauce has a slight sweetness that many find just right, and the French fries are also very good, with clean oil and crunchiness. It is considered a Sea Isle City staple, especially popular during the summer months, as it operates seasonally. Parking can be limited, with a few spots on the side street and a walk-up window for takeout, usually with a short wait. Some reviewers note that after Labor Day, the restaurant closes for the season, so visitors must look elsewhere for pizza at that time. Despite occasional issues with staffing and hours, the pizza remains a standout feature of the restaurant.
