Went here because our family took us here who live near by the board walk. Good place to eat! The Philly cheese steaks were phenomenal! I got the buffalo chicken cheese steaks and it was damn good! Couldn’t even tell it was chicken. Our waitress didn’t get around to us as much for us having a big party it was also fairly slow when we went. But overall good experience and great food.
We have been going to JR's at Easter for more than a decade, and it NEVER disappoints. The Marucca's pies are fabulous, the mixed drinks are good, and the beer, of course, is great.Even better, the service is fantastic! The bartender has a smile for everyone and is both attentive and helpful. The waitstaff is equally great. They are thoughtful and always in great humor.Go to JR's - it is totally worth it.
I was there on the off season and most places were closed on the boardwalk, but I did find JR's Ocean & Grill open. So I stepped inside and ordered a Coke and a slice of pizza. First off, I found the staff very friendly, the service good, and the pizza tasted great! It was a huge slice and it wasn't greasy. If I'm in Seaside Heights again , I would stop in again for lunch or supper.
