Sometomes it's not just the food, but the experience. I'm very familiar with the Saw Mill from living in the area..But I don't go that often for food due to mostly eating plant based. However, my sister and I met our dear friend there today... who wanted to give us something in honor of us losing our dad unexpectedly two weeks ago. The gift brought us to tears, which we explained to Brooke our waitress why we were crying. Not only was she a fantastic waitress......
We got the blackened tuna bites as an appetizer while it tasted fine there was 4 small pieces, barley enough to share, and mainly shredded carrots and iceberg lettuce for $17. It was very cheap feeling. I felt ripped off. Service was ok. When our server gave us our food and had others tables he was definitely less attentive to our table. My fiance waved down our server and he did the wave one min. And never came back so we got up to get someone else to get us more drinks. Overall...
Was One of my favorites ,prototypical Boardwalk Pizza.
Something was different last time I had pizza here,to be blunt,the sauce was way over seasoned for me,did not like the change
I still Love the Bar and other things I had but for me personally, the pizza took a step back
