Terrible experience. Our reservation was for 9pm on Valentine’s Day, granted I figured it was going to be busy. By the time we sat down, our server said hi can I get you guys water and then we didn’t see him for another 30 mins. At that point we knew what we wanted to order. Our server didn’t even remember greeting us and took our order. Took about 20 mins to get our drinks and apps, the calamari was a bit overpriced for the amount that was given. By the time we got our entrees, we’ve been in the restaurant for about 1 hour and 20 mins. We didn’t even bother getting dessert and having to wait another 30 mins to just get it.

Been coming here for quite some time, and it never disappoints. The lobster special salad was outstanding. Main courses like the branzino, scallops, and pasta are consistently delicious. Beyond the food, the staff truly knows how to take care of their guests, which keeps us coming back.

I honestly didn't have any high hopes going into my first meal at this restaurant, but I was astounded. I've never eaten at a restaurant where I genuinely enjoyed every dish. Each meal was expertly prepared, exquisitely presented, and had a distinct flavor and personality. Every plate that leaves the kitchen is a true testament to the love and attention that goes into it.

I'm honestly ashamed that it took me this long to write this review. This is my wife's and my favorite restaurant since we discovered it 4 years ago. Excellent food, drinks, and service (special shout out to our server Marvin). I love the fact that items from their specials make it to the main menu when they do well. We always try at least one of the specials each and have always been impressed. Their gnocchi is perfection and we always get their shrimp spring rolls with our first course. Zepollis are fresh and on point too. Great for intimate night out or a group celebration. A true hidden gem of northern NJ!
