I think it's horrible that I ordered for pickup and have to wait in line for my food when I get there. You need a line for pickup only. What is the point of ordering and paying ahead of time only to wait? Ridiculous!!

Place has good food but they have no clue how to actually conduct business. What is the point of ordering for pickup when you get into the store and they make you get to the very front of the line to tell them you are there to pickup food that you ordered in advance? Some people come here during there lunch break on work and are ordering in advance for this very reason, as they do not have 20 minutes to wait in line to pick up their food. Meanwhile, there is a counter to the left when you walk in where they keep all the pick up orders. All you have to do is simply take my name, so you can hand me my food, a 15-30 second interaction tops. Constantly shutting their phones off as well. I was just put on hold for over 15 minutes, I hang up to call them back and they shut their phones off. Stay away from this place if you are in a rush, pathetic way to treat returning customers

This Italian deli is a gem! They have classic cold cuts (my family loved theirs) but what really impressed me were the vegetarian options. I tried both the eggplant parm and a veggie sandwich, and both were delicious and made just how I asked (extra vinegar, light oil). The fresh bread and top-notch ingredients made all the difference. Huge shoutout to Gianna who works the counter - she was so friendly and helpful, especially in navigating the veggie options. If you're looking for a fantastic Italian sandwich, Gios is the place to go

Took my buddy to have a chicken vodka parm for the first time at Giovannis Italian Deli in Secaucus. I have been here a few times but he hadn't. Not only did he have the sandwich he took 2 to go. What makes this business so successful is the consistency in quality & taste. Most importantly THE SERVICE. The crew goes out of their way to make sure you leave happy. You must come to this spot if you are in the area and if your not it's worth the trip. Love this spot!!!

I just picked up sandwiches for my nieces. They are from San Diego and wanted them to try an authentic Italian sandwich. We got the Italian, meatball parm, and chicken Parmesan. As one of them was finishing her first bite of the Italian, she said, this sandwich is so good I am a little overwhelmed!!! Love Giovanni’s, my husband and I go all the time. Don’t miss it!
