Very good food and reasonable prices. The Chicken Parmigian was tender and done just right. My wife had eggplant ravioli. She thoroughly enjoyed it. The informal ambience is also a great asset.
In response to those asking for the restaurant to have "nicer decor"- even the simple plain cheese slices here are made from quality ingredients and are also gigantic and one other tiny little thing- They are UNDER THREE DOLLARS. That's correct I said gigantic quality slice of pizza for UNDER 3 DOLLARS.They also have a massive backyard seating area with 8 large picnic tables and strings of incandescent lights. They also have exceptional Italian dishes and desserts...
A cultural institution! The sicilian slice is particularly good, better than most spots in Brooklyn.Nice garden out back to eat out on, parking across the street.Good pizza, great people.
