I sincerely and wholeheartedly recommend eating at the Lahore Restaurant in New Jersey. Wishing you success. Zunaira.
I finally tried Lahore Restaurant in Secaucus, NJ, the place everyone’s been hyping as the best Pakistani restaurant in the state, and honestly, the hype is well deserved. When it comes to Pakistani food, I usually rather just eat my mom’s cooking, but Lahore Restaurant definitely delivered that motherly touch. Every dish was perfectly seasoned. The naan struck the perfect balance between crisp and fluffy, but the real showstopper was the BBQ. My top pick had to be the Bihari Beef Boti, though the tandoori and seekh kebabs were also solid. Even the nihari impressed me, which doesn’t happen often. For dessert, the Falooda was a must-try, a rich, creamy milkshake with that classic Pakistani rose essence.

As a Lahori this spot was literally all that I needed as international student here in NJ. It truly is such a hidden gem here in Secaucus, and gives off true rich Lahori vibes with its well decorated interior/ambaince. Food was also so good, my favorites have to be the Chicken Karahi, Gol gappay, mix grill, and delicious variety of naan they have. Oh and I totally forgot abt the dessert- which was just the cherry on top. I had been looking for some authentic falooda all over NJ and this place had to have one of the best one. Overall it’s a must try for those who need a taste and visit of back home, service is really fast, and the place was really clean too. Lahore Lahore Ay!! 💚💚

Lahore Restaurant is truly a gem for authentic Pakistani food. We started with gol gappe, followed by crispy, flavorful fish pakora and juicy, perfectly seasoned kebabs. For the main course, we tried their White Karhai—rich, aromatic, and absolutely delicious—paired with fresh hot naans. We ended the meal with falooda and chai, the perfect sweet and comforting finish. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed.
Ammmmmmmmmazing
Don't try nihari (little salty)
Try
1. charsi karahi
2. Makhni handi
3. Don't try gol gappa (I don't like or may be my taste buds are little high).
But ambience and vibe.... superb
You'll directly be in state of nostalgia....

Delicious chicken beryani. A bit spicy, but helped my sinus
We have dined at Lahore restaurant before and hadn’t had a problem. However, we ordered food yesterday 1/30 as pick-up and after eating, several people developed food poisoning with symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting. Food that we ordered included chicken nuggets for my kids (who also became sick), mix grill, tava keema, and naan). Never ordering food from here again.

I ate at Lahore Restaurant and it was amazing. The Pakistani BBQ was some of the best I have had and the Goat Karahi was absolutely to die for. The Gulab Jamun with ice cream was the perfect hot and cold combo. They also have a very extensive menu while keeping great quality across all their food. Definitely coming back.

You shouldn’t be making reservations if you aren’t able to sit people at the time given. Made reservations for 7p and didn’t get seated until after 7:40p. The host is no help whatsoever when asked about the wait time. We were told we have to wait until a certain table gets empty and that table was still eating. Another table shouldn’t have to be rushed because of your poor time management either. Completely unacceptable.

Restaurantji Recommends
Great food. Loved the theme and the atmosphere. Very friendly staff. We ordered the nihari, channay, and fried whole fish. My only suggestion would be to cook the nihari longer so that the beef falls apart. It was slightly on the tough side. Otherwise, everything else was on point.

We had a really nice dinner at Lahore Restaurant and enjoyed everything we ordered.
The Lamb Kabab was delicious, minced lamb marinated with fresh spices, juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked in the tandoor.
The Charsi Karahi was a standout. Rich, aromatic, and full of depth with black pepper, whole tomatoes, whole green chilies, and dry masala. Definitely recommend having it with naan and rice to soak up all the flavors.
We also tried the Lamb Chops tender, well-seasoned with traditional Lahore spices, and cooked beautifully in the tandoor.
Overall, a great spot for family and friends gatherings, with comforting, authentic flavors. Would definitely recommend and will be back again.
