This place is typical Jrz dive deli on the outside, but on the inside-- Think cawfee, Daily Newz, a great selection of Welch's juices, Stewart's cane sugar sodas, fresh coffee cake squares,lottery scratch-offs n old ladies w deep throaty cigarette voices in law-ine (line) lol? They even have a Fat Cat w egg, cheese, pork roll and home friez on it together. Rutgers greasetruck invention? And for the record, IT'S NEVER TAYLOR HAM!!! ??????“

“First off the burger was DELICIOUS! I got the el paso burger and I was impressed by how the chipotle mayo actually had some kick. The owner(I believe) is super nice and didn't make me feel rushed. The only reason why it's missing a star is bc I wish the patty was a liiiittle bit bigger. But other than that, the ingredients are clearly fresh. Thank you!“

“Hands down one of the BEST delis on Staten Island! Definitely a great find out here. The environment is very clean and welcoming. The service is a 10/10 right along with their food! I absolutely adore the workers, they’re very nice and respectful and will accommodate with your needs/wants. If you need something that they don’t have in the store, they will get it for you and will be in the store the next time you visit. I asked for an ice pack and they didn’t have but believe the next 24 hours when i went back in there was the ice packs i were asking for! I LOVE THEM“

“Someone recommended I come here and try some of the pre-made specialties. It is a small place, but there is no lack in options. Everything really just looked so good, I picked out a few things for me and my son. I picked up some Chicken francese and chicken Marsala, some marinated artichokes and some seafood salad. All of it, DELICIOUS! I have been a chef for many years so I can be picky and I can tell when places cheap out on ingredients. I did not get that vibe from here. I'm pretty sure I could taste the love. Highly Highly recommended“

So far I've been sampling the sandwiches my favorites are the pork cutlet and the amazing turkey meatball park with vodka sauce ( delicious!!). I just had the Italian and it was perfect! “I ordered from grubhub and the food was very good. I had a grilled chicken Caesar wrap. I also ordered a pound of Boars Head turkey and a pound of egg salad. The egg salad is awesome. I highly recommend this place. I do wish they would sell bread / rolls on grubhub to go along with their deli by the pound offerings.“

“Shopped at Chestnut Hill for years. Moved to PA & every time I came back for a visit in NJ I stopped at Chestnut Hill. Now I am living in NJ once again and I am so happy to be able to shop in Chestnut Hill again. You can't beat their store made roast beef turkey, quality cold cuts, and freshly ground beef. Their selection of in-store salads & Italian specialties is great. Meats are high quality. Their rolls are delicious, I love their eggs & produce is A-1. So glad to have this store close to home!“

Their meat selection is amazing, great cheeses, yogurts, home cooked food that makes great easy to heat up dinners, lots of polish sweets & breads. Not to mention the prices are great. My kids love their hot dogs and kabanosy francuskie (a polish slim Jim). They make great easy lunches for toddlers because I pair them up with a string cheese and a cut up fruit and my kids eat everything, well I pay $4 per pack at a store near me, but $2 per pack at Polonez Deli. Also, today I bought so much stuff that I couldn’t even carry it all and hold my daughters hand, especially since I should be on bedrest( 7 months pregnant) and despite the fact that they were extremely busy, they had one of the workers carry my stuff to the car for me. A+ for customer service! I loveeee this place!“
