Above everything, the service is wonderful. The staff is pleasant and patient with your questions (especially if you are unfamiliar with polish food or language). I do not hesitate to ask about the various sausages hanging over the counter or the assortment of dishes in the cooler. This place is fantastic! I just bought a home in Rahway and Stas is right at the end of my new street. I was born and raised in central Connecticut and this shop reminds me of the places you can find in New Britain which is basically Connecticut’s “little Poland”.The couple times I’ve gotten food here so far, it reminds me of my grammy’s home cooking. Wonderful polish store with tons of parking all around the entire building and side street. The pierogi, stuffed cabbage and kielbasa are the best I’ve ever had. And the service is what makes me come back week after week!
