Been wanting to stop here for some time and I am sure glad we did! Went to the bar, and e were welcomed as soon as we walked in by Yvonne, who was working the bar, and grabbed a cocktail. Great selection of draft beers including some local craft selections. We got a couple of menus and ordered burgers which were great. I love that they have a selection of a few different types of fries to go with the burger. Lively atmosphere, music playing just loud enough for it not to be intrusive, but loud enough to hear the songs. Def gonna add to our rotation!

Cool American bar. An experience as a tourist, super nice service, many types of beer, the food was delicious, typically American. I can only recommend.

Maybe the best bacon cheeseburger I've ever had. Reminded me of one of the old bars I used to hang out in when I lived in Philadelphia. Attentive bartender/server and nice customers. Will definitely be back!

I have been a regular patron of The Barnsboro for over 30 years--as a child coming with my family, as a teen who worked as a bus girl, and now an adult who brings my own family there. The quality of food and service has really gone downhill--especially the entrees. I knew the Aliberti family very well and they must be so unsettled with how the quality has decreased, but the prices have steadily risen (I don't mind price increases as long as the integrity of the quality of the food remains).Recently, my son and I went for his 27th BD. We both got the Filet. Both were overcooked and lacked flavor. Mine was very tiny and had literally two small pieces of mushrooms on top. We had a similar experience with the crab cakes not long ago.The last several times we have been in, they have also lacked servers. Each time, and each time someone different since there is a big turnover (I wonder why?), one person is hosting, serving and busing. They can't possibly keep up with the level of service The Barnsboro has always been known for.The Barnsboro has always been our go to restaurant in the community for high quality meals--looks like we will have to find an alternative. : (

Don't waste your time or money. Poorly managed. Cold food. Bad service. The oldest tavern in NJ should be ashamed of themselves.
