Fantastic dinner service this evening by the staff of La Spiaggia. Mark and Dan thanks for getting us in at the last minute, it’s been a while since we ventured out and you hit it out of the park. Chicken Parm hit the spot and my wife loved the blueberry salad. Considering the way the world is now you and your staff made it feel normal for a while.
We arrived on LBI planning on going to restaurants we had been to on previous visits to the island only to find them closed. This was our first visit past prime season. We found La Spiaggia was open on a monday night. We have found a new go to place on LBI, the food was amazing. The service was excellent and the bread garlic and oil and eggplant concoction was excellent. Great restaurant. Meatballs and calamari were solid, fish was outstanding (swordfish special),table had chicken masala which was good and Milanese was outstanding! Solid dessert options (get tartufo). Pasta can be skipped, the bolognese tasted like hotdog chili - can use some carrots and cream. Service was outstanding and will go again.
