The food was all delicious, hummas and burrata were great starters, we had the halibut, black cod, bronzino and strak frites were all fantastic entrees. The dirty martinis were really good aswell.
We had dietary restrictions(low salt). Even though I ordered items with no or less salt. There was an extremely high amount of salt. Management was accommodating and took two items that were too salty (fried calamari and fries) off the bill. They re fired the fries and it came out after we finished eating. I will say that the Crab cakes were phenomenal and totally craveable. I will definitely be back for them.
Eaten here many times and food is always good. This time it was loaded with kids running around, super noisy and service was not up to par.
When you're going to an establishment of this caliber, you expect all the members of your party to be served at the same time. You don't expect to have to get up after waiting 10 minutes to find any staff to assist you. You don't expect your $50 entree to get cold. You expect the manager to care. I guess our expectations were too high. I hope they don't expect us to be back.
The food was excellent and service was spot on. An excellent dining experience where you are made to feel comfortable and enjoy your meal at your pace.
Restaurant was way too loud, making the whole experience uncomfortable. Open Table review choices list the highest noise level as "energetic", as if being in a space where you can't hear those at your table or your servers was a positive. Beyond the noise, the service was mediocre and the food was not great, with a limited menu to choose from. With the prices this restaurant charges, we were expecting a more refined experience, both in ambience and food preparation. The only positive was that a table was available on a Saturday night, but now I know why. This was our worst overall dining experience in all the years we have been going to LBI.
What a great meal - tried the sea food tower for the first time - plenty for 6 people - incredibly fresh and very tasty. All the meals were excellent! Great to have a pre dinner drink on the roof top patio
Food and drinks were excellent, our waiter, Mike was awesome. Funny, knowledgeable, and very attentive. Highly recommend Salt.
Truly a 5 star dinner from start to finish! Our bacon appetizer was amazing with a maple bourbon glaze, cooked to perfection. Our dinners were 8oz.filet ,lump crab mash potatoes, Parisian butter & Maitake mushroom. The drinks were stellar, Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Noise level was zero. Nothing to speak about. Highly recommend SALT.
In spite of Salt always bustling with activity, it is usually so easy for my husband and I to get a reservation. I'm glad we did this past Saturday as we were greeted by the most bubbly hostesses, served by the very professional Laura who is so helpful and just a pleasure, ate the most delicious filet mignon ( paired with a delicious Malbec wine) and listened to the fireworks in the distance while spying a bit of the football games from across the room at the bar. It was pretty much the perfect evening at our favorite place on LBI. Thank you!

Excellent. Our server Michael was experienced , professional , helpful and nice!!! Sat outside great temp and quiet. Recommend... great experience and we have been to salt many times over the years. Always special.
Our experience one of a kind. Mike enchanted us from the moment we sat down and kept us on the edge of our seats all night. He went above and beyond his call of duty to provide us with a magical evening. He deserves a raise!!! Truly the most entertaining dinner of our lives.
We have a wedding coming up there in a week and a half, and it was nice to go in advance and take some white
If you are going to charge 135.00 for one of your specials, the waiter should have informed us of the price when telling us about it. While it was good, I have never paid 135.00 for one steak dinner. Manager was not very helpful either.
This is not the place to go to very often. It is seriously overpriced. $63 for a bottle of White Haven Sauv Blanc! That's a nearly 5x mark up. The chicken dish was perfect, but the pork chop was cooked too long - outside was crusted from either a heat lamp or just cooked too long. Service and ambiance is always very good. I would like to visit here more often, as i live very close by, but, it just is too costly.
