Food portions are very small. Ceaser salad was 3 pieces of romaine lettuce with 3 croutons and 2 capers Not worth the price

Our server, Sal F. was fantastic! Although he was busy, he spent time with us explaining recipes and more. He even asked the chef a few questions for us. Went above and beyond! The restaurant is a little loud, but the food and service make up for it.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. We came in expecting a high-end meal and were instead served raw fish — literally. One person in our party ordered the halibut, and it came out completely raw and inedible in the middle. Not undercooked — raw. Two others ordered salmon well-done and received it nearly the same way: cold and raw in the center. For a restaurant that tries to present itself as upscale, this was unacceptable. To make matters worse, they had the nerve to charge $325 for a bottle of Jordan — a wine that retails for around $60. Most fine restaurants mark it up to around $150, which is already generous. A fivefold markup is pure price gouging. Between the raw fish and the outrageous wine pricing, this place is all flash and no follow-through. Save your money and your appetite — dine elsewhere. On a positive note the server and manager were very accommodating and apologetic and they did remake the items correctly.

Me and my wife got married at the hotel and we were excited to have our second wedding anniversary dinner at the salt restaurant inside the LBI hotel. How’s diagnosed celiac disease the year we were married my wife called the restaurant and asked said they had gluten-free options and they said they did. When we showed up at the restaurant and looked at the menu, it did have a lot of items listed as gluten-free when I asked the waiter if he could double check that the french fries were gluten-free even though they were labeled on the menu you told me they were cooked in a shared fryer with other gluten items. I was very disappointed that their gluten-free menu was very misleading as that could make me very sick given that I have celiac disease. When our food came out, the presentation was nice, but the serving size was very small compared to the price. This was a huge disappointment to me and my wife And tell The portion sizes and menu is fixed. I don’t see us coming back to dine in the restaurant in the future if you have celiac disease, please double check with your waiter if you eat at this establishment to avoid getting sick. The picture below was the fingerling potatoes and filet mignon. The portion was very small for $68.

If you're looking for an experience, this is the spot! We were treated like royalty from start to finish, our server was absolutely amazing, super friendly, extremely helpful and great to chat with. The food was unbelievably delicious, we got the skate special, recommended by the server, it was like a rare delicacy and the pork chop, that was cooked to perfection. 100% recommend this place, definitely will be our new regular spot.

My husband and I hosted breakfast at Salt Kitchen the day after our wedding and cannot recommend it enough! All of the food and beverages were delicious, and the service was fantastic. The staff is SO friendly and made sure we were taken care of and never ran out of food. The space is lovely and felt perfect for our 80 guests. If you are considering booking a private event here, I highly recommend it!

Food is always delicious in a beautiful atmosphere. The staff always brings a special desert for our anniversary which has become a yearly tradition for us on our anniversary to dine with Salt Grill.

My husband and I went for our anniversary and had an amazing experience, even though we were one of the last reservations they treated us so well and especially Jamie, Mike and Casey went the extra mile to make sure everything was excellent and we had a great time. The bacon appetizer is unbelievable, just a pro tip :)

We sat at the bar for an appetizer and drinks before our reservation. Joey was such and amazing bartender that we asked him if we could just finish out night with him. Me wife and I, being bartenders in the past, were amazed by him. Definitely going back to sit with him. Food and drinks were amazing as well.

always a good meal although as at most hotels, the pricing is a little high. The food is good though as is the service for the most part

The food was not very fresh and what was fresh (beautiful green beans) were basically raw. We also did not find the menu to be as appetizing g as expected.

The food at Salt Kitchen has always been great, but what made our experience even better was the service. We had two elderly diners with us who both had difficulty getting around. The staff was extremely kind and helpful without calling attention to them. our waiter, Mike, was the best! He was attentive, funny, and made suggestions we all appreciated. We were a table of 8 including the two previously mentioned diners, and a 6-month-old baby. Mike took it all in stride and made out Easter experience truly enjoyable. I live on the island and hosted this family event -- from here on, when I need to host another dinner, I'll definitely call Salt Kitchen -- and ask for Mike's section!!!
