We’ve frequented this location semi-regularly for the past three years and there has been a noticeable uptick in quality in recent visits! One small suggestion for atmosphere would be to place any children’s birthday party tables at the rear of the restaurant as they can get really loud and overwhelming when placed in the center of the dining room. Harley (sp?) and Jayron were exceptional! We dine at this location every other month and this was different. Food was better (Jayron NAILED the steak for us all) and the service from Harley was everything you would want. It was different tonight in a great way, we were very pleased!
I reserved this visit for a birthday dinner for my sister. I had not been to the Short Hills location in over 20yrs. When I arrive to the location, driving up the hill to the parking area was very dated from I was last there. The exterior of the restaurant is very worn. It was almost hard to believe this was Short Hills. The interior was the same, very outdated, the floors in the foyer area were slippery, rugs in the dining area very worn and the seating areas very congested....
